LOVE this restaurant! If you love home cooked comfort food and a friend of the family feel, Good 'OL Days is the place to go! The home like atmosphere extends not only from the decor but also to the delicious food and warm welcoming service. Our server Heather immediately made us feel at home and never failed to take care of us throughout the entire experience. We ordered the cooked to order fried chicken which, of course, takes a little extra time. No problem if you are really hungry like we were because Heather got us our drinks and warm rolls with butter immediately. The rolls are right out of the oven delicious! Before we realized it she served our piping hot chicken dinners. The chicken is juicy and delicious! The sides we ordered were equally delicious, mashed potatoes and gravy (your choice of white or brown), green beans, corn, coleslaw, and a great big bake potato were our choices. Don't miss the wonderful home baked pies for your dessert! All of this wonderful meal and service was at a bargain price!

Great place; been going there on and off for years. Very typical small town menu, but Fried Chicken is their specialty. All you can eat on Sunday is huge, and take an appetite! They cook orders as they come in, so it is a bit of a wait but worth it. Looking for good basic no frills food, then this is the place! And great homemade pies!

Food wasn’t very good. I had pancakes and two biscuits. The biscuits were soggy yet very dry and I wasn’t able to eat much of them. The floor was quite dirty, I couldn’t even slide my chair because the floor was so sticky. There was also a bug in the air conditioner that may have been a cockroach. I have to give credit where it’s due, the service was good and the restaurant would have been much better if it wasn’t so dirty.
Absolutely wonderful place to go get breakfast or if you come on a certain day all you can eat fried chicken and dumplings! Staff is extremely friendly and there's always lots of interesting people around!
