I think they stole my Grandma! This place is outstanding and as close to home cooking you can get. This was my first visit and I plan to go back. The white gravy was outstanding and complimented the country fried steak. The fries were perfectly cooked and the coleslaw was very tasty. I was also able to try my girlfriend's French dip that she was unable to finish. It, too, was fantastic even a day later!I beg, beg, beg for you to add fried okra.See you next time.

A hidden gem 30 mins from St. Louis-MO!My family and I were traveling back from Tennessee to St. Louis and wanted to make a late lunch stop. We saw a sign by the side of the road and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise it was! Despite the fact that we arrived relatively late for lunch (around 2:30 PM), the staff, who were actually having their lunch at that time, were amazingly nice and welcoming. The lady who served us (unfortunately, I forgot her name) was so nice and patient while explaining dishes and recommending options. On top of that, the food was delicious—heartwarming home cooking.

Great breakfast food. Went during shift change, both waitresses very friendly, and competent at their job.

Out of 6 meals ordered, all were some way wrong. Wrong meal delivered, reorder didn't come. Another meal had to ask for the sides she wanted, next one got the wrong meal. Next one didn't get her salad, next one got wrong chicken pieces. Next one the fish was partially over fried and didn't get the slaw. One meal was not charged for because she didn't get it.Not happy with the service either. Don't know if we had a new waitress or the kitchen help made the mistakes. Not happy this time at all.

Highly recommend! The all you can eat fried chicken for 12.99 is an amazing deal! The meal even includes PLENTY of sides, which are unlimited as well. Kids 5 and under eat the fried chicken meal for free as well if sharing with an adult. The food was delicious, the service was incredibly friendly and fast. Can't recommend this place enough! We don't live around the area, but we will be stopping by every time we are nearby

We have been going here for many years. I think it's improving every time we visit. Great fish on Friday. Great chicken on Sunday. Good place for kids and families. Nothing fancy. Just good home style cooking.

This little place is a hidden gem. We love the food here especially the all you can eat chicken on Sundays that come with sides. The parking can be tricky at times. They have a pull up outside the restaurant for pick up orders as well. Great for large and small families. The employees definitely hustle on Sundays. Great staff.

The fried chicken was hot, crispy and delicious! The sides were also good, hot rolls and a free dessert! You can't beat this meal and the price was also reasonable. Service was wonderful. The interior could use a little sprucing up.
