Cute, super dog friendly place

Went out with some friends for Taylorville, the taylor cover band and it was such a blast! I don’t go out much anymore but I would definitely come out here again. Looking forward to the ABBA coverband in November! Service was fast and friendly even though the house was packed. The venue switching the concert to indoors after storms in the forecast seemed to go smooth.

Great time at The Hunks show tonight.

I was excited to attend an event here. I called to get some details (since it was my first time visiting) and the person that answered was extremely rude and condescending. Unfortunately I won’t be spending time or money at this vineyard. Very disappointing.

Except for the staff being pleasant, there is no redeeming quality to this winery. As soon as we got out of the car, we had to navigate a minefield of 30+ doggie diamonds…. But we soldiered on. When you open the door, you’re greeted by 4 sweet, but filthy matted overgrown hounds and the smell of their lair… but again, we soldiered on. Then there’s the wine. Just stay in town. This place may have had a heyday, but it’s long since over. The owners don’t didn’t care to clean up crap, and the wine reflected that philosophy. 2 stars for the kind woman that waited on us. She was a delight. Just go to Hy-Vee and get bottom shelf Merlot. You’ll enjoy yourself more.

We were their on Friday Novembers 8thn at 3:15PM. We were met with a young lady that was rude and when my husband asked for one of the beers, she poured a glass the keg ran out and his glass was 2/3 full. She than was irritated that he did want the beer that was not full and foamy. When we went to leave we were parked up front in one of the parking spots and there was dog poop all over the spot right where we parked. One of us was unlucky enough to step in the dog poop when she got out of the car. We were not looking for dog poop in the parking areas. The gravel in the drive also had poop areas in it. We get to Springfield area once a year and this has always been on of our favorite spots to visit. After this experience we wont be coming back and probably not the individuals we stay with in Springfield. They were horrified with our groups experience there. There were 5 of us in case you want to see who was working at time at 3:15PM. The person we paid when we left was not the same rude person we seen when we walked in.

I had the pleasure of running the Springfield marathon that started and ended at the winery. Thank you so much for hosting this event.

Was told the well water ran out and the inside bathrooms were shut down, they only had 3 porta potties outside with over 1000 people there! Food truck over charged us by $10, contacting my card to dispute. mixed drinks are $10??? Why wouldn't you have water in the well if you were expecting that many people? Yuck!

The night with the tribute band: 'PEEPHOLE', 'DEFNOTES', & 'FREAK ON A LEASH' was AWESOME and the experience of The Danenberger Winery was way too cool.
The winery is MOST DEFINITELY a must see and EXPERIENCE.

I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE SHOWS IN THE FUTURE I AM SURE ~ Thank you .....

We went to an outdoor concert. The band was great, needed better sound system. The bathroom situation was horrible! The women’s restroom didn’t have any Water, the well was dry, so no flushing or handwashing!Outside there were only 3 porta potties !! They were so Full and stunk!! Why would you have a few thousand people and not enough restrooms? Especially full! They weren’t cleaned in a long time. I won’t be going back for any concerts!
