Fleckenstein's Bakery

My young son and I started a tradition on Fridays to get doughnuts before school as something to look forward to during the week. We have consistently been to Fleckensteins for over a year now and the service is always amazing. The staff on Friday mornings are the most friendly and kind people you will meet.

The doughnuts are always fresh and delicious. If I can snag a cheese coffeecake to bring home, my family is double excited. They have various breads, cookies, cupcakes, pies and cakes as well. A good variety of items to choose from!

Wow is all I can say!! Amazing customer service and everything I have tried here is DELICIOUS! We always get compliments on the cookies when we bring them to parties and the donuts are amazing too! I placed an order of cookies to pick up for the wrong day and they are remaking the cookies for me so the cookies will be fresh for my son’s first Birthday party. How amazing! Again all I can say is wow! We drive 45 min just to get this bakery and there is nothing better than Fleckensteins! Go you will not be disappointed!

I have hitchhiked to all 48 of the Continental United States and I have eaten at many, many bakeries and even worked at a few. The cupcake here were some of the best I have ever had. Top 3 for sure only beaten by my Nana and a mom and pop bakery in New York City.

Great place for all your bakery needs. Always fresh and tasty.

Don't bother calling during open hours. They never answer and you only get an automated response to go to their website. Frankfort location doesn't seem to want to answer their calls either. Weekdays or weekends. It's a shame. I use to love fleckensteins but their customer service is non existent when it comes to phone calls

The absolute best place to make your doctor angry and shake her head in disapproval. But well worth it.

Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. I recently had my knees replaced, and they've offered to carry purchases to the car.

I ordered a double crust cherry pie from the lady. I had a streusel cherry pie when I opened it. Wrong pie, but delicious. Their large kolacky were very good. When I visit the south suburbs, I will go back but, ask to see contents of pastry box before leaving.

Loved that I was able to order my cake online and the kid working the register when I went to pick it up was so polite! Everyone at my party loved the flower design and the flavor of both the cake and icing. I will definitely be ordering more cakes from them in the future
