For my first time my father picked you as something he'd normally not favor. Highly recommend for the taste and quality. Definitely will be back again. Sauce was great pulled pork was great. Brisket was good . Was worth it by far.

This was our first time eating inside at the restaurant. Super clean dining room and you can watch them cook in the kitchen through a glass partition. Service is FAST! Portions are HUGE and the food is good, really great value. I took half my rib slab home. We will definitely return for the pork chop, it looked amazing!

This place SUCKS! The ribs were DRY & BURNT with no flavor as well as the Pork Chop. Don’t spend your hard earned money, It is nothing like the original in Midlothian nor will it ever be. Steve must be rolling in his grave! I don’t recommend this place at all.

First time was just after they opened the new lenox location was very busy ordered the corned beef sandwich was great Second time was yesterday 10/4/25 wasn’t busy for a Saturday the brisket was dry and hardly any flavor service was ok rib tips weren’t great either there’s better bbq out there also the lighting in the bar area wasn’t great either

I ordered the brisket sandwich and mashed potatoes. The brisket was extremely thin and very dry - almost something you would expect on a shaved beef sandwich. The gravy tasted like it was made from a prepackaged mix. I will not be going back. I frequented their original location in Midlothian quite often when it was open and I remember the food quality being amazing. What happened?
Now at the New Lenox location, the staff seems borderline rude/clueless. I began pouring myself Starry from the self serving fountain drink station, and it was all bubbles and foam and when I alerted staff, she told me that there’s no way that that could be right and seemed determined to argue with me on it. The young man at the counter just stared at me when I gave him my order as if I was speaking another language. An overall very frustrating and disappointing experience at this location.

Meats cooked great. Just a few things we wished that could’ve better. Our sides were cold. Green beans were very cold. Our biggest wish is my husband wishes there was more options of barbecue sauces. He was wanting a spicy bbq. Something with a kick. Other than that everything was good. But don’t get mad if we come back and bring our own spicy bbq sauce 🤣

Food was not good. Ribs were not cooked properly and had too much fat. When we got our order of wings, they were still frozen on the inside!
First time trying this location. It was decent. I still believe the original was the best. The chicken sandwich was basic, the old location had more of a char to it and the taste was better. The fries were mediocre at best. Will be back to try actual pork chops and bbq in the future.

Wife ordered ribs which were dried out and tough. I ordered patty melt which was terrible. Fries for both were burnt. Couldn't even make it home before diarrhea kicked in. Couldn't talk to manager because of this. Never again!

Hog Wild is awesome! Their pulled pork is next level, super tender, full of flavor, and honestly addictive. The staff is super friendly and makes the place feel welcoming. Love the chill atmosphere and good music, it’s the perfect spot to grab some great BBQ and just relax. Definitely a must-try if you’re in New Lenox!
