As someone who has struggled to find good gluten-free pizza, I was absolutely thrilled with my recent experience at Pizza Di Farfalla! I ordered three gluten-free pizzas, and I can’t emphasize enough how pleasantly surprised I was by the homemade gluten-free crust.
It’s such a treat to finally find a place that doesn’t rely on those standard 10-inch frozen pizza crusts that so many restaurants serve. If you’re gluten-free, you know exactly what I’m talking about—the disappointment when you open the box and see that familiar, lackluster crust.
But not here! The crust was not only delicious but had a wonderful texture that made me feel like I was enjoying a traditional pizza. It’s evident that the team at Pizza Di Farfalla has put a lot of thought and effort into developing a recipe that truly caters to gluten-free folks without making us feel shortchanged.

Gio is the man! From electric oven pizzas (that taste like the best wood oven fired style), to Sicilian Style Za, to the Detroit Style, every single pie I’ve ever had has been fantastic. I just had the Detroit Style last night for the first time and can confidently say it was the best version of this style that I have ever had!
This pizza is worth the trip from anywhere and I would put this at the top of the list along with the Chicago Stalwarts. Gio, thanks for making the community of New Lenox and the Southwest burbs proud and I’m excited to see you continue to grow Di Farfalla!

Who would have thought that pizza from a pizza shop inside of a coffee shop would be good? But it is amazingly good. Today they did their thin crust Chicago tavern style pizza and it was amazing. I requested it well done ( of course because that's the only way you're supposed to eat it) and I have to tell you the crust is crunchy, its got the nice burnt edges around the crust. Basically everything you want from a pizza. The staff is great as well as the atmosphere. If you're tired of all the chain pizza places you have to hit up Pizza Di Farfalla!
The pizza is really good, but words can't express how delicious the Detroit style pizza is! I wish it was available all the time. It's legit my favorite pizza!
