Very poor communication due to language barrier. Food quality is good, but portion sizes are small and stingy on the meat. Not worth the high prices compared to other authentic chinese restaurants. I won't be ordering here again, and neither will my extended family that live in town.

Now I know we ALL know the Rising Sun in New Lenox is the worst of the 3 locations, but I was weak and gave in and decided, against my better judgement, to stupidly assume they couldn't F-up basic beef & broccoli and egg roll. However, LOW & BEHOLD they outdid themselves this time.
I went in to pick up my order and I asked for extra duck sauce. He said it's in there. I said yea but could I have just a few more? He said they are in there. I said very Nicley yes but can I get just a few of the little cups. (Like the ones he was handing to the guy in front of me picking up his order moments ago). He turned around to the box holding like 500 little cups, grabbed one and dropped it in my hand......

Wow. I looked at him stunned considering a small beef&broccoli and egg rolls was $18, but I couldn't get like 2-3 little cups of duck sauce? I will say the food was good, my husband enjoyed it, (minus the missing duck sauce), and I can't even truly complain about the price, while outrageous, what isn't these days? But the attitude and idk ....cheapness of a few extra duck sauce cups.....

But atlas, what did I expect? It is the New Lenox Rising Sun after all....

Ate there many times over the years and it was always good.. Ordered carry out a week ago and I couldn't believe how bad the food was. Egg roll tasted like it was reheated, no meat whatsoever, dark and greasy, ribs not edible all tasted like it was reheated and very tuff. Won't be going there again any time soon.

I’ve traveled around a bit and you’re not going to find better Chinese food than here. Large portion sizes make sure you and your loved ones are never hungry after ordering from

No stars. 0. Absolutely the worst meal chicken fried rice, crab rangoons and wontons, we have ever ordered. Basically paid $50 for a half dozen fortune cookies. The only good thing here, and they were fortune cookies.

Vegetarian options: I came over to rising Sun from Moe’s and I have to say this is the best Chinese food. I’ve had in a very long time and the delivery driver was awesome.
