A very cute, small diner. My husband and I each had the Cowboy Bowl. It had excellent sausage gravy and "bacon shoulder" which I didn't even know existed but was smokey perfection. Fresh ingredients, fast service, and great coffee. Can't wait to go back!
The best customer service around! Good vibes only whenever you enter. From the moment I walk in, it puts a smile on my face. The music and overall positive energy and atmosphere makes my day. The coffee is amazing, the food is awesome! Thank you for always putting a smile on my face and being a great start to my day. You are the sunshine on a cloudy day! :) Love you guys!!!!!!!!!
This is an amazing breakfast spot. It has a downtown feel. The menu evolves and it's very unique. You won't find another place like this in area. It in an industrial complex where you wouldnt expect to find a restaurant.
This was a nice place but the food was just okay. I got the breakfast burrito and one friend got the juevos rancheros, the other got french toast. None of it was very flavorful or memorable. The breakfast burrito had a lot of sauce but it didn't taste like much and it also came with some type of salsa that wasn't even close to Mexican. The staff was nice but we had to get our own water.
We recently moved to NL and this restaurant was right down the street. We like to support local and we’re so glad we stopped in. The staff is wonderful. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and delightfully kitschy. Almost didn’t want to write a review about this hidden gem, but this place is too good to keep a secret.
It's a very inviting place. Cute decor. Great customer service. Food is amazing.
This cafe is wonderful! The food is simply delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the place is clean. They always play easy listening tunes to enjoy your breakfast to. We love coming here, thank you Songbird Cafe!
Heard about this place from friends. But didn't know you had to order at the counter then find a table. My husband had the biscuits and gravy ,way too much pepper. I had traditional breakfast with bacon. Wheat toast was very good. Don't know if we will be back. Staff was very nice.
We stumbled upon this restaurant after googling breakfast places. The staff was amazingly friendly, and attentive. The food and coffee was delicious. My 14 year old said the Chia drink was better than Starbucks. We highly recommend this place. Get there early there is very limited seating.
This was the first time for me and my family here, and I think we'll be going again. The service was very good, it only took about 5-10 mins for our food to come out. The food itself was good, regular breakfast food, but it was good. I highly recommend the iced chai latte with oatmilk, it was sooo good. The prices are a little high, for 4 people but worth it.
Restaurantji Recommends
Everyone said try songbird so we didnot impressed with ordering then sit down everyone was pleasant but the food was mediocre at best they need to take the biscuits and gravy off the menu
This wasn't good. I hate to give such a low score because the staff was so nice but the food was terrible. My chicken sandwich was a frozen chicken patty, not hand breaded chicken. My husband bought the Cubano and it was so dry he actually choked on it. The beignets tasted like fried dinner rolls. While any fried bread is good, these are not beignets and are a bit doughy. Needless to say we didn't eat this food and went down the street to cooper's hawk for lunch.
I highly recommend the Songbird Cafe. The beignets are to die for, so light and very tasty and I also enjoyed the Lemon Poppyseed pancakes. The owner was very nice she stopped by while i was eating to make sure i was ok and refilled my water for me. Will come again when I am in the area.
I highly recommend supporting this small, local business. My grandma and I stopped by Songbird Cafe for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was a spur of the moment decision while we were waiting for prescriptions to be filled. We were so pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. the staff is incredibly friendly and the food was amazing! The Jerry Garcia plate was actually the first full, nourishing meal I had been able to eat since having abdominal and spinal surgery about a week prior. I went back to the counter to order their banana bread pudding to go and both my grandma and I agree that it was the best banana pudding we've ever had. We will definitely be back!
Cute country hip place with excellent food and mix of music! Definitely be back!
