Usually when you order fast food and go through the drive through what you're served is a hastily arranged sandwich. However, on my recent visit, I got a Dave's double, and I was surprised that it was meticulously built wrapped and nicely placed in my drive through bag. Kudos to you Wendy's in New Lenox.

Came here about 4 times in total, it’s very slow and takes minimum 10 minutes even for a small order. Workers are rude and act like they never had a job before

Came in for a pineapple mango lenonade there was MOLD in it! Its beyond disgusting that this occurred because this is made fresh. I cant believe i drunk it. Never will go back

Let’s start by the lady who was taking the order through the drive-thru . At first I thought she could be new so I tried to be understandable because I could hear I will assume the manager in the back assisting her. I ordered for a #6 with no mayo & 2 biggie bags with BBQ sauce & 3 cinnamon pull apart. Once the food was received I noticed they have gave us honey mustard and not BBQ. I went inside and explain one of the guys that I asked for BBQ and not honey mustard and placed the honey mustard on top of the counter, the lady who took my order came to the counter grab the honey mustard with an attitude and walk away without saying anything. A young guy tried to step in to assist but seems like he was new (which I have no complaints and I understand) another guy stepped in and was helpful. After arriving home we also noticed the #6 did had mayo.

For the most part i understand mistakes happens it was not busy and they could have been more careful while doing the order.

when it comes to having an attitude and projecting it to the customer in a job that you chose to do is completely unprofessional.

Will not be returning to this location.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Is it just the portion sizes? I always come to this one when I feel like eating Wendy’s and it’s always fine. Burger King was the only time I ever ate something and got sick 15 minutes later.

At least figure out how to cook bacon.

SCAMMERS!!! I just went through the drive through and told them I wanted to use a code which they then told me I had to use it at the window. I then payed and ask to use the code which they then responded with “you must use the code before you pay” I was frustrated but understood that was there policy and asked to put another fry on the order which I then scanned the code and payed. I thought everything was fine until I got my food and all that was in the bag was FRIES no chicken nuggets. I was still at the window and told the women she forgot my fries, she then LAUGHED in my face and said “I had scanned for rewards” and would have to pay again to get my chicken nuggets. This is the WORST in-counter I have ever had at a fast food place and will NEVER be coming back. The food was awful fries weren’t salted. The women working at the window needs to be FIRED. I went in at 2:30 september 13th.
Do not give this place your money. they will SCAM you.

So the last time I came here was the end of October of 2024 because it was completely awful all around. The service was absolutely terrible, the food was trash, cold, and the place was insanely filthy.

About 10 months later, I decided to try it again out of curiosity and this visit has been a 180 from the previous time I was here. I was taken care of within three minutes or so (they were getting crazy drive thru orders, so I waited - no problem). The food was ready within minutes (unlike last visit where I waited 25 minutes to be acknowledged and have my food ready), and the food was very hot and fresh.

The dining area was very clean this time around. Not sure if they have new management inside and new team members, but this was a great experience this time around. Kudos to this Wendy's for turning it around.
