food costs way to much for the quality, the staff are friendly occasionally, and the bowling lanes are barely up and running. you'll be lucky to play one game of bowling in the same lane you start playing on because they mess up so often. the staffs solution to the bad lanes/scoring system/ball returns is to move you to a different lane that's not messing up at that moment. if you have a problem with any of their lanes don't expect quick service because all the wait staff is just there for tips in the restaurant not to care about your problems. I remember eating here as a kid and it sucks that its been ran down so bad. the owners name is rob and he doesn't care about the place at all. he has a manager named keely that his wife specifically told him couldn't be a waitress because of her attitude. keely tells people that with a smirk like its an achievement. do not come to parklanes unless you just want to throw money away and have a bad time.

Great local place to eat and go bowling

Had our son’s birthday party there yesterday. I had called twice about the party, once to book it and once to confirm it and ask some questions. When we showed up at 1 for our 1:30 party they gave me a deer in the headlight look like they didn’t know we had booked a party. But they gave us our lanes and allowed us to order pitchers of drinks. We just set up cupcakes and cake at the tables in the bowling area. I tried to not make much of it, it was fine. We began having issues with one of the bars on lanes, it kept getting stuck. We asked for help 2-3 times and kept being told there was a button on the machine. After 3 times of trying the button I told someone at the counter that the button wasn’t working. The OWNER then came storming down, intentionally knocked over a stack of two larger bowling ramps for little kids to use WHILE there were little kids near. I was very unimpressed and disappointed with this behavior. I am not a complainer when it comes to businesses and customer service but this behavior was uncalled for. I understand a lot has happened in the last couple of months that have affected this business. I have always talked great about Parklanes and recommended it to people. But I left there yesterday feeling very disappointed in our local bowling alley.

Had a great family day. we spent $20 for one game for a family of 5. They had light weight balls for young children and the ramp to assist with bowling. We really appreciated that as we had a lot of small children. Had the pizza it was great and their fries were absolutely amazing.

Our church had our annual bowling and pizza party this evening at Parklanes. We had decided to order pizza from there instead of from another business this year. We had called in and ordered our pizzas and reserved the banquet room a couple weeks ago. The pizzas were very good, our server was fantastic, and everyone who bowled really enjoyed it!! What a great evening! It was so nice being able to have it all right there! Great job, Parklanes!!

Took my family in for a fun day of bowling and good food and had to switch lanes 3 times due to their equipment malfunctioning in 7 frames did not even get to bowl an entire game and still had to pay for a full game was so mad at the disrespect we encountered on the management still making use pay for bowling when their equipment did not work and I route the management "well you still bowled so you have to pay" I paid the tab as to not cause a scene in front of my kids and we left without eating. Why would I give them more money and grace the company with more money when they are undeserving. Our kids were upset we couldn't bowl and eat there we will NOT EVER be back to this place. Which is a shame it use to be very nice and food is good.

This will be your best honest review:

One of the locals there recommended to eat at the bowling alley. Of course I thought it would be only corn dogs, fries, and hotdogs, but they really surprised me. If you’re looking for some country style food you should definitely give it a shot. They have a small dinner area and you kinda forget you are in the bowling alley. Surprisingly enough they have a BAR located in the back! The bar was very clean and had some seating in there as well. I couldn’t get over my brother’s sandwich. Which I WOULD highly recommend you to try! If I could give one suggestion I think they should have a better salad mix. The salad was embarrassing especially when our sweet server asked if I wanted tomatoes on it. ? The salad only came with iceberg, a sprinkle of cheese, and a few sliced cherry tomatoes. Salad definitely needs an upgrade.

All-in-all: I would recommend this place to eat or drink. I didn’t get a chance to Bowl so I can’t review on bowling. Prices on everything was really fair! ?

Do not know how to read IDs. Called cops even with a valid ID after serving the alcohol and saying it was finel. Accused of being a"sting". Owner came up aggressive immediately and was nothing but rude, and arrogant. Do not recommend. Go to effingham or olney or anywhere else. The dude running the lanes was cool, same as the other lady up there. Just seems to be ran by really bad people. In all honesty anyways, the lanes seemed to suck and were all messing up through an entire single game which made it take forever and kind of ruined playing.
