Its a good quick bite. Food is consistent. Been stopping by when I'm in the area. But I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area.Alot of other Al's have closed, I'm happy this one hasn't.Chicago has a lot of Italian Beef places, and reviews for this category is very subjective. But I have always liked Al's over Portillos, Mr.Beef, or Buona. But Johnny's on North Ave will always be top shelf for me.But this Al's has a bigger menu and...

So good! A Chicago staple! Nothing tastes like this! Big beef Dipped! Home cut fries with self serve drinks! Good stuff!! Great staff!
