First time going to Arvin place, it was recommended to me by my friend from Bokh. Immediately upon seating they welcome you with hot milk tea and give you the menu to look over. Prices are very reasonable and consistent! We got the Tsuivan, Khuushuur, and Uvchuu. All were exceptional! The Khuushuur stood out most to me, the meat filling was delicious and it was golden brown and crispy. Staff were friendly and accommodating, I will be coming back a lot.

I’m not Mongolian, but seems very authentic, the beef was great, the sheep soup definitely is an acquired taste, very gamey, but you can tell the dish was created to not waste anything and to combat the cold. For Americanized pallets, stick to what seems to be not too extravagant and you’ll enjoy the authenticity of the food.

Dishes leaned bland, lacking the spice and depth expected of traditional flavors. The restaurant also misses opportunities to guide newcomers: sparse menu descriptions and minimal server input leave unfamiliar diners guessing. While the space is clean, the atmosphere feels generic—bright lighting and plain decor do little to evoke cultural warmth or intrigue. With clearer dish explanations, seasoned cooking, and a more inviting ambiance, Arvin could better honor Mongolia’s culinary heritage. For now, it’s a concept with promise but uneven execution.

This place is super minimalist, they use plastic tables and chairs and the service is almost non-existent. The fried beef dumplings are pretty good but the noodles aren't really my thing, kind of a wack combination of flavors.
