This is a late review but I was here several months ago and both my son and I incurred food poisoning about 6 hours after eating here. We suspect it was the Cole slaw. But who really knows? The one thing we do know is that it came from this place since he and I live in separate households and it was the only meal we shared that day.

I purchased a variety of seafood at Captain Alex Seafood for a gathering of 8 people. I wasn’t sure how much to buy, but the owner was extremely helpful and gave me his best recommendation. It turned out to be the perfect amount—enough for everyone with some to spare.
I had a lot of questions, and the owner patiently and professionally answered each one in great detail.
As for the quality of the seafood—it was outstanding. My sister, who is visiting from Sicily, even said the fish was as fresh and flavorful as what she buys straight from the harbor in Porto Empedocle.
We’ll definitely be back!

owner is very confrontational and the food made me sick. It was also a weird color and texture in some parts. Overall not a good experience.

I order large quantities of clams from them every year for Christmas and they always deliver as promised.

I also want in with a mask on and explained to the gentleman I am going thru chemo and have no immune system. Im all of 5 feet and 100 pounds went in there only with my credit card no purse no anything. He didn' t give a dam.
The crab legs were so delicious and fresh, the store was spotless and the man who helped me was polite & knowledgeable, definitely purchase here again, thanks

Got some Norwegian Salmon to bake for dinner. Just got finished eating. Absolutely delicious. Nice, fresh fish.

Cold called the company in order to see if they are interested in Fresh Tuna exports. Guy on the phone said he is not interested in anything Asian as he doesnt trust China. Slightly funny but mainly sad, personally wouldnt even want to get a single shrimp from such a "Crabby" guy.

This is a horrible business. They refused to serve me because I was wearing a MASK. I'm an American a disabled veteran and my wife has cancer. Who do they think they are to deprive me of my right to protect myself.i have a right to "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is mean and controlling and hostile.
