Everything about this place was perfect, the food was 11/10 the chicken was amazing, the servers were very nice especially this 1 lady I didn't get her name. The atmosphere was very welcoming, It was like I was back home in the Philippines everyone was speaking tagalog over all I would eat here every chance I get. This place needs to get 5 stars

Their inasal was sooo good but the rest is okay. What I didn't like about this restaurant though was the Service. Almost everyone has an attitude. They were very rude and that created a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Not customer-friendly at all since they were backstabbing the customers behind their customers backs.

Some of the best authentic Filipino food around. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the entire staff is extremely friendly. I try to make time to eat here whenever I am in the area! Can’t wait to go back soon.

Went here as one of the place who has sisig bangus (milk fish) and was very disappointed. The fish skin was incorporated to the dish, it was not pleasant, felt like more skin than the meat itself. It was too sweet, no where in their menu said it is sweet. I gave my honest opinion to the server when asked and told me, ‘you should have told us, it is our special recipe.’ The sisig was not tradition in any sense, I would not expect one to be sweet. Go to Pinoy Grill for a sisig bangus, not here.

Chicken Ati-Atihan is hidden in plain site. It's located in the strip mall/plaza where the Niles Meijer's used to be (yes, I'm that old). I'm not aware whether it's some sort of family-owned situation or not, but the place is well-worn and comfortable, like it's been operating for a long time. Yes, they do recommend calling in your food ahead. We did not. But it still didn't take too long - just don't gamble on a quick lunch turnaround if you didn't preorder. I noticed (cause eavesdropping and we were waiting) there were a lot of people calling in their orders ahead of time. The pork lumpia was fresh and delicious. The BBQ pork sticks were portioned generously and the prices were right on. They claim to be the best chicken inasal in town. Maybe they're right. I confess I don't know Filipino cuisine so I can may be a bad judge, but I think the atmosphere, the food, and the service were all great and looking forward to trying more next time.

Th e WORST Bihon Guisado I have ever had. Overcooked mushy noodles did not even look like noodles at all. Threw it in the trash.

Food: very good. Of the four Filipino restaurants eaten in the past two months, this had the best garlic fried rice. It’s not the best ever but certainly passable and better than the other, larger unnameds. No specials were ordered. Fish was good, beef as well; the egg rolls were too salty but with a decent mix of crispy and soft textures.Service: our server was open and honest about the wait for our order. 40-45 minutes without a reservation and with a full house. Our server remembered our discussion at seating about the leche flan, and asked if we were interested in it after the main course. But of course! Bring on that course.Atmosphere: this is a very family oriented Filipino restaurant in Niles, Illinois. My co-diner laughed at the Christmas music playing throughout our late September visit. It was fun.

I just recently celebrated my coworkers' retirement at Chicken Ati-Atithan. It was my first time trying squid and it was delicious. So I will definitely go back. Everything was delicious, and the amount was more than enough.

Everything they served us here was so fresh! They do recommend that you call in your order ahead of time. (They're making it that fresh!) But they were able to accommodate us even though we hadn't done that. The food was definitely worth a little extra wait. Great flavors on the chicken and the pork. The pork egg rolls tasted very fresh as well. I also really liked the leche flan for dessert. The decor here is colorful and cozy. It's a smaller restaurant, but we were able to be seated right away. Our server was friendly and helpful, especially when she found out it was our first time here. I would absolutely come here again to try more things on the menu.
