I've only gotten take out from here since we live in Uptown but this has definitely been my fave spot for authentic Korean food in Chicago. I'm obsessed with bossam and this has been the only spot I've found with yummy, tender, thinly sliced bossam. All the stews we've tried taste great and love that their kimchi is always nicely fermented.

Had snow, snow, snow.
아구찜: Tastes okay, but the volume is too little…to justify the price
불족발: tastes okay. A bit too sweet.
곱창볶음: It's a joke. Money waste. Almost insulting.
Oh, by the way… steamed egg, they charge $8. Unbelievable.

I don’t even want to give it 1 star! It was an acquaintance's birthday, so I recommended sea otter and had a gathering, but the freshness of the gamjatang was very low, so I spoke to the male owner, but he didn't respond. Would you trust me and visit a specialized restaurant if the taste of the food was so different? It was a Saturday afternoon, and I was wondering if there would be a problem if there were only 2 or 3 tables. It seems like the owner needs to pay more attention to the food and side dishes. I don't want to go there again. I feel like I've been betrayed by a customer! I think it's a specialty restaurant where the taste of the food doesn't change all the time.

Highly over-priced, bad taste, service is the worst.
Bo-Ssam was horrible. The spicy radish that were supposed to come with the bossam dish was some trash. That was not food and the waitress was weird enough to admit that they are serving trash and IT WAS OLD!!!!. It was somewhere close to $30 for some junk port dish with messed up vegis..

I often come here, and every dish is super delicious. The service was very attentive, the only downside was that it was too far from my home by car for 59 minutes. But they will still come often.

It used to be a really nice restaurant...
I'm disappointed every time I go.
I won't split anymore.
It's worth eating.

While eating giblets, a staff member saw him chewing and scooping out about 100 grains of sand from a single giblet, rinsing his mouth with water, going to the bathroom, and coming back. He complained, but no action was taken, and this just happens once in a while. It was so absurd.

Service and atmosphere were good, but the food wasn’t good as what I expected.
It is okay to visit one time, but it’s difficult to visit here again.

Spicy chicken stew was really tough and dry
I recently ordered the pork bone stew, and it was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were rich and savory, making it one of the best stews I’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure I had a great dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service!
