My father said it was a better Korean restaurant than Korea, so we went there together and it was really delicious!

The workers were very rude. My server stepped on my shoes, held things in my face, and spilled marinade from the raw beef on me all without apologizing. Horrible customer service for such mid food. I had better at Daebok. 1 star is me being generous. Would not recommend.

I enjoyed the cold noodles, green onion pancakes, and pig's feet set meal. It's the best in Chicago. Please be kind.

I'm not very well versed on Korean food, but this place is great. The BBQ is delicious, and the bowls are hearty and tasty. Really nice staff, too. Their tofu dolsot bibimbap is my favorite.

Expensive for not good food. I ordered bossam, but the meat had a strange color and a strong smell, so I almost left it behind. It looks like the form of telling the kitchen and taking everything will go to the next table..

We're on the hunt to try practically every KKBBQ place available within the Chicagoland area just to see which one is actually the best. JCD was next on the list...Found on a long a** strip mall in the heart of Niles (close and not too far from Glenview) you have an array of options to choose from as far as parking and other eating establishments within the area. We walked in on a Friday evening with no wait. This location also has karaoke! (We did not parlay) Immediately great service right off the bat. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to ask for addt sides at other places and this lady was ON IT! She catered to our every need without having to ask! Refilled sauces and we were never left without a refilled water or side. It's all you can eat but it's also pretty expensive for the quality you're getting. Although the meat was good, it wasn't the best. Their rice cake appetizer was the bomb! Perfectly chewy and delectable. Overall solid A-!

I recently visited this Korean restaurant with my grandma, drawn by her craving for jokbal. Located conveniently next to a lively karaoke spot, it's a perfect combo for a night out.The jokbal exceeded expectations--delicious, tender, and the medium portion was more than generous, leaving us with lots of leftovers. The variety of side dishes were great, and the sauces were a perfect compliment.Despite having just one waitress for the entire restaurant, she was remarkably fast and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. I'd definitely return, especially if paired with a pre-dinner karaoke session next door. Overall, a fantastic find!

I like gamjatang cuz didn't even have the unique smell of pork.I don't know if the chef has changed the soup doesn't taste good and the soup floats like a lump that covers pork grease with chili powder...I had diarrhea for 3days. What's more absurd is that the server complain about the tip... ITS SMALL AMOUNT!!!! she said. It was a fair tip compare of the food and service were i feel like she doesn't want to work.. Few weeks after i heard from a co-worker other incident that the server complain about the TIP..Why has JangChungDong changed so much?

Food was fine, it used to be a good place since there wasn’t many Korean AYCE places in the area. The biggest pro is that it’s open late (until 2 AM most days). But now there are too many options.Service was disappointing. They forgot our water and never came by after giving us our order. It took 15 minutes just to get their attention to get the check.Parking: Parking inside a plaza with plenty of parking.
