WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! If I wanted this many noodles, I would’ve just ordered ramyun. The budae jjigae was overloaded with noodles, and the beef broth had no flavor whatsoever. The bulgogi was mostly onions—completely disappointing. To make matters worse, a staff member made a rude and offensive comment, saying, “You must be Mongolian.” Even if I were, that shouldn’t matter—customers are the ones bringing in the business and the money. I ordered three dishes and only asked for a refund on two of them, but they still refused. The lack of respect and basic customer service was shocking. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Korean restaurant. Absolutely disgusting. I will be reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau.

Save 3% by bringing cash.
This was that rare occasion where the food looked nicer than the picture on the menu.
I ordered beef bulgogi. It arrived on a sizzling plate, with a delicious cup of beef broth, and two vegetables. The dish was large and delicious. I had leftovers to take home.

Pork back bone soup (gam-ja-tang), it's so similar to the famous pork back-bone soup restaurant I've had in

Best korean soup in Illinois!
This restaurant’s soup is the best in Illinois and the price is reasonable! Galbitang, sundae soup, gamjatang, and intestine soup are all delicious!

Located in the former Assi Plaza food court and now named Park and Shop (store). Don’t be deceived by its unassuming facade. Wow wow wow truly gourmet.
This place trumps all. The BEST Korean food in Chicago. As a native Korean and avid foodie I hold high standards for Korean cuisine. This joint offers the best favors and uses high quality ingredients of all the places I have been to in the state. The kimchi is homemade, you can tell. It’s so delicious and yet not drenched in salt and sugar, so healthy tasting yet light and flavorful. High quality, authentic, no skimping (generous portions- yay) and even greater prices (what?).
It’s a hole in the wall, mom & pop shop and I can’t get enough of it. I would eat here everyday if I could. I want to give the owner and the cook a big hug, thank you thank you thank you. And please never go away.

Great service. Wonderful server on my birthday. Hope was very professional and kind.
absolutely amazing. our server nick was super great and helpful and the dinner was fantastic.
The place has the best gamjatang, beef cartilage soup and oxtail (and cartilage combo) soup I've had in the Chicagoland area. The soup is deep and flavorful, and I don't think they take shortcuts given they only specialize in slow-cooked stews. Portions are generous for the above. Underrated given it's in a food court.
So delicious! And good services!
