I haven’t been to this place in a while but quality has really gone down. The service was not the best and the waiter didn’t even give us water and had us wait to take our order because they had a few phone orders come in at the same time. We ordered the chicken lard nar and it was pasty and sticky…almost like it was left over and they just added some more sauce and reheated. It was goooy and sticky. The chicken fried rice was ok. The chicken satay peanut sauce had a clumpy and oily consistency. The catfish salad already had the sauce on it when they used to leave it on the side. They drenched the salad so it was way too much sauce. The Thai iced coffee and tea tasted the same as before. The worst was the lard nhar that really left an icky feeling in my mouth.

The new owners have missed the boat. This is not even close to the original Thai food that was served. Prices are exorbitant. I would choose real Thai, not this.

Sadly I have to write his review because of the lack of service. This used to be such a welcoming place. I walked in and no one was to be seen. Finally (5 minutes later), a little boy ran up to the front and asked me some questions. I was seated and then told that there is no buffet special for the next 2 days. Meanwhile they advertise buffet every day. I used to come here as a child and drove almost an hr just to get here to end up disspointed and having to go elsewhere.

An absolute gem! Siam's House Thai Restaurant offers an exceptional lunch buffet from 11AM-3PM for just $18.95 per person. The food is not only fresh but also made to order, providing a delightful array of flavors. The egg rolls, potstickers, papaya salad, Thai fried rice, drunken noodles, and spicy basil leaf dishes were all incredibly delicious. The option to choose between watermelon or oranges is a refreshing touch. Moreover, the opportunity to add $5 for unlimited curry is an outstanding deal. The value for the quality and quantity of food is unmatched. I highly recommend Siam's House for an outstanding dining experience! Great Vegetarian options! Can even ask for everything to be vegetarian too! Much better since the last set ups since they make everything fresh!!!

We got the Massaman Curry and Pineapple Curry. We asked for no fish sauce and they were able to do so. So good! I am grateful we ate here.

Delicious thai food, friendly staff, family owned establishment and great relaxing atmosphere. There is even a little snack shop located inside. Chicken pad thai, Hawaiian fried rice and thai meatballs were excellent.

My high school friends from the Philippines & I get together for lunch once in a while. We couldn't decide and ended up @ Siam's House Restaurant (BIG MISTAKE). Of all the restaurant options available we ended up eating at what is one of the worst restaurants we have ever eaten at. When we entered the restaurant looked ok, but this was the high point of our lunch. There were 4 of us so we ordered a number of dishes family style. We started w/fried calamari 7 pieces for $8.95. Tom Yum Soup w/shrimp (very small bowl $11.45) Tom Kha Soup w/chicken (very small bowl for $7.95) Veggie Delight (small 2 bowls @ 7.95 each) Lad Nha Pork (smelled & tasted rancid) for $13.95 they replaced the pork w/beef but was too salty & peppery) Mongolian Beef was flavorless for $15.95 Honey Chicken (looked & tasted like chicken nuggets) for $13.95 The service was very slow and the prices on the menu were not current & not what we were charged. The manager said the menu prices were not current but they should have honored the prices shown on the menu. To me this is a deceptive practice listing one price & charging another one. This restaurant doesn't deserve to be in business w/very slow service, mediocre & overpriced food. "DO NOT COME HERE"

FYI the chef that used to provide delicious food before new owners took over now owns and is chef at Zaab Thai in Elgin. Food is outstanding!! Staff very pleasant and attentive. Go show Zaab Thai some love!! We love them!!

Today I found a delicious restaurant in the winter like this: delicious spicy tom yum noodles, rice mixed with shrimp paste, authentic Thai flavor. I want to recommend everyone. You must come and try it.

I came in late. A few to go orders. The pork sticks I ordered were excellent. Then the pad se ew I had wasn’t to bad. If you see my other reviews, I love Asian food. I’ll eat here again while I am in Chicago. The gentleman working the kitchen and front of the house was very friendly and courteous. No complaints here.
