It took a little bit of time for the waitress to get our orders. It was around 1pm and not too much people. Other than that, food is great and have a spacious parking spot.

It's my first time going here, I am around the area so I tried it since fellow Filipinos are recommending this place for so long now. I just ordered tapsilog since I'm just by myself lol. I don't have any complain about it. It was great. It's the service that they need to improve. Staff doesn't seem approachable and accommodating. This is a Filipino restaurant, and I don't feel the vibe since their staff is moves like robots giving you food that you ordered and giving what you have asked them. No greetings or no enthusiasm when it comes to the food that they sell.I know this restaurant has been running for so long now, and well-known for its food but customer service really needs improvement. They gave me my tapsilog and I have to stand up myself to ask them for spoon and fork. They wouldn't even give me a napkin or not even asking me if I need anything else.

Jan 25, 2024. Our son graduated from Navy Basic training in Great lakes Illinois. He wanted to celebrate his graduation by taking us out for lunch at "tita Mia's". The food was actually very good no complaints on that part. Compliments to the chef! But the service is where I am disappointed. We were served by two ladies who seemed very unfriendly. Very robotic almost like didn't want to serve us. Not sure why, maybe they had a bad day. There were only 4 of us dining , so it shouldn't be difficult to serve plus we ordered a good sum of food . We would probably return again to eat here but I will probably asked if the server are glad to serve us first. As for tita Mia's owner, hopefully you employ more pleasant server. Having good food is just half the battle. Oh, by the way , our son still managed to leave a decent tip.

Very inviting place, food is amazing, clean lavatory, a bit pricey but worth it for the quality you receive. Super authentic and place seems to be ran by husband and wife. Place is huge so you won't have to worry about waiting to be seated. Everyone here has a smile, staff is super friendly. If you're looking for great Filipino food, this is your place.

The food was quite good! It reminded me of my Mom's home-cooked Filipino food. I think this place is worth the trip. We dined in, but I'd probably get take out next time.

It was good. First time eating lumpia. Didn't disappoint. Didn't have chicken lumpia that I have heard about.

Got scammed into ordering more than needed. We ate there for our friend's birthday dinner, which we reserved for about 12-15 people at 6pm. Ordered 1 of each dish because we didn't want to waste food (1 order of sisig, 1 chicken, 1 kare kare, 1 crispy pata) and we were planning to order more if we felt like we needed more. A waiter who wasn't our original waiter came up to our table and told us that what we ordered wouldn't be enough and told us to order 3 or 4 more entrees. We said we'll order more later, but he wouldn't take no for an answer. so we ordered 4 more plates and rice thinking that the plates for the ulam will be small. Once we got the food we were overwhelmed because we ordered too much (as we originally thought and predicted) and had so much leftover. We had to pay probably $100 more than we should have.We also asked if they could sing happy birthday to our friend and if they could bring a small cake, which they were doing for every other table around us, but they never did (we asked twice). Also it was very warm inside the restaurant, hence the 3 stars for the atmosphere. Very disappointed with their service, the only saving grace was that the food was good.
