We attended the Mother’s Day brunch in 2024 and Easter brunch this year (2025). We will definitely make this a yearly tradition! We have been going to The White Eagle since the 80’s and will continue to do so!
My family has been going to The White Eagle for a very long time. The Polish vibe is leaving. Picked up some kolaczki, it was very thin, unlike before when you got a nice sized kolaczki with powdered sugar and was like a soft cookie. Not anymore. The mushroom barley soup has lost its texture and needs to be a little more thick.
The Polish rye is now darker in color. When you used to go to the deli, you could see all the great Polish food on display. They had all these Polish merch you could get. Not anymore. Its so hard to find good Polish food. Next time I'm in town I'll pass on the white eagle.
