The Bulldog has always been a place I looked forward to meeting friends at when I came to Aurora. The staff is always smiling and attentive to what we need. Hearing the change to a breakfast place made me laugh. How unoriginal can you get? Those are a dime a dozen and none truly last long in the restaurant world. Why, it’s hard to get original with breakfast offerings. The biggest piece for success is the people. They are the main reason we would go to there. It’s a business decision, but I don’t feel a wise one. Also, the timing couldn’t be worse. Don’t tell me you didn’t know this was happening. Have a heart for your people around the holidays!

When traveling for business to Aurora, this was the place I like the company to take us for a night of beer and dinner.
Awesome, excellent, ultra are some of the word that describes the staff treat us.
My favorites are the boneless buffalo, mini hamburgers and the original burger.
Sad to hear that it is closing.
An excellent place to dine and spend some time, whether for business or pleasure, the staff's attention is excellent.
On business trips for the company, it was the place I expected to take us for a dinner and company beers, the best is their boneless buffalo, the mini hamburgers and their original burger, the beer and liquors are of a wide variety.
It's a shame they are going to close it to open a breakfast place.
In a year I hope it will return to being a bar with the same employees and being able to say the famous phrase, in the same place with the same people, HEALTH!!!!

Disappointed doesn’t come close to describing my feelings after hearing the news. Closing the Bulldog, including this sort of treatment to some of the best staff around, for another random breakfast place is absurd. There is definitely a lack of bars with this type of atmosphere and service in the area, so it seems to me that this is just poor strategy and lack of presence by ownership. I’ll be sure to completely avoid this new “breakfast place” and go to the several others at my disposal, and I hope any potential future employees are aware how this all played out.
Good luck to all the staff and thank you for everything. You always treated my friends and I to a great time, and it’s just a shame that there won’t be more of them.

As someone who frequents the bulldog often it’s a real shame to learn of its transformation into a breakfast joint.
Gone are the days of a “pub atmosphere” where you can have a “Cheers” style pub experience, where everybody knows your name. A place where you can have an ice cold beer and a fresh one is poured before you’ve finished your last, without prompting.
In its place are the days of trendy $37 eggs Benedict made with some long lost vegetable from a small village in Tahiti. This new breakfast place will undoubtedly attract instagram influencers and foodies…. Until it doesn’t.
Trends are trends for a reason and this will one will be poached soon enough.
Bars have been around since the Egyptians, trendy breakfast places have not. Keep that in mind before you make the decision.
Looking forward to having a pint at the Bulldog after Sunday.

I was just informed by some of the best staff in the business that the owner has decided to close Sunday night….and turn it into a breakfast joint?!?!?! Moronic. This is an area attraction that was coming back strong with finally having a great manager to compliment the staff (the former manager had no clue).
To the ownership- rethink this. Your employees deserve better and it might help if you stepped foot into the place and spoke with your customers. I write this speaking as an employer that is responsible for over 200 people at my company.
Good luck to all the employees, thanks for all the good times, great service, and most importantly welcoming manner in which you made us (the paying customers) feel welcome.
To the owner- good luck, I’ll be ordering my breakfast from one of several other places that serve cheerios too. You lost your identity.

Came in on a Thursday to great service, as usual. Always a good time with Monica . The place was packed. Ordered the chicken tenders and the food came out quick and good. 10 out of 10 stars for their service! Cynthia runs a great place. Love this place and recommend to all my friends, family and co workers.

She was very helpful and helping me decide what to get and how much food I should get and took away a lot of stress for me. The food was absolutely delicious and packed up so nicely and ready on time. I would recommend Bulldogs for all catering needs and Cynthia was absolutely the best. Thank you so much for making my daughters party. Perfect.
