Harner's Bakery Restaurant

Visiting from out of state, and came across this bakery. The stake and eggs were delicious! Also a great view to the river and friendly people. I will definitely be back next time I visit

I was not super impressed with my one visit here. I had a special on their menu for dinner. It had absolutely no seasoning and it made me sad to eat there.

Best corned beef hash I've ever had. It's definitely home made. Biscuits and gravy are on point. As always the donuts are incredible.

Have been never disappointed by the spread or the taste of Harners … Coffee cakes are a must …

Great family restaurant with home cooking.

Severely overpriced! You will pay 20-30% more for the same food at a lesser quality and quantity you get from any other family restaurant. You are charged for anything extra (a little more gravy, some extra onions, etc) then charge you to pay with card, which their crazy pricing should cover. Not at all the restaurant that we all grew up enjoying. This new generation of owners is greedy and thinks he is running a gourmet restaurant.

Their cake donuts with coconut, roasted coconut, and chocolate toppings are my favorite. The nut breads they have are always fresh, moist, and delicious. When I eat there for breakfast, I normally get biscuits and gravy.

The food and bakery are absolutely the draw. If you're looking for delicious and decently priced down home cooking and baked goods, then Harner's is perfect for you.

Parking: The main lot can get slightly cramped but there are plenty of places to park less than a minute or two walk away.

Nice-sized portions of fried chicken (crisp crust, yet juicy inside), pot roast (tender), and pork tenderloin (crispy and served with real mashed potatoes). Pleasant service in a nice dining room overlooking the Fox River.
