I've been getting delivery for a few years now and this past year has been absolutely awful.There have been several times where my delivery was not on time and I was without milk for 4 kids in the morning. Then I'm supposed to wait around all day for whenever they decide to come by so my milk/ice cream/cheese/etc doesn't spoil. I shouldn't have to frequently rearrange my schedule to accomodate a service that I am paying for. I understand things happen sometimes but this has become frequent. I don't even receive so much as an E-Mail about it.When I call and ask where my delivery is the women on the phone are kind of rude and seem fine with customers being inconvenienced. One of them offered me free delivery for a few months which was laughable because if you pull up my account I already am mostly getting free delivery because of the amount of items I purchase that qualifies me for free delivery already.One woman told me they are understaffed, so when someone calls off it can move people's deliveries. If you are that short-staffed that it's 2pm right now and I normally received my deliveries between 2-3am, you need to do a better job of staffing. 12+ hours late??? Ultimately, your staffing problem is not the customer's problem.I will just go to the store and buy milk.

I have been an Oberweis customer since the 1970s, when I lived in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn and became addictive to the dairy's skim milk. Now I live in downtown Chicago and was disappointed when Oberweis ceased to deliver bottles of skim milk to my favorite grocery store. However, Oberweis' ice cream still is delivered there. So life can go on. Each month, my wife and I love to visit the Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store in west suburban North Aurora to purchase dairy products that we can't find at our favorite grocery store. Located at 951 Ice Cream Drive, north of I-88, off Randall Road, it is open from 9 to 10 Sunday through Thursday and 9 to 11 on Friday and Saturday. Established in 1927, Oberweis is a regional counter-serve chain featuring ice cream and dairy products. Its ice cream is one of a kind, made with 50 percent overrun, meaning it is only one part air to ever two parts of cream and contains 18 percent butterfat. How does a company that makes such good skim milk also make such rich and creamy ice cream? The fountain treat menu includes scoops, sundaes, shakes, malts, smoothies and frostbites. But we come for the ice cream. On each trip, we choose eight different flavors and take home eight quarts that tide us over for a month or so, until our next trip to North Aurora. On this trip, we chose chocolate almond, chocolate chip, strawberry, cookie dough, coconut chocolate almond, butter pecan, cookies and cream and sweet lemon blackberry. Honey butter cashew, anyone?

If you’re a truck driver this place starts shipping and receiving at 6 AM if you’re bringing in dry goods you’ll check in right away once you enter the property to your right if you’re bringing in refrigerated or picking up refrigerated you go around the back it’s a little tight this place is not made for newbies get out and look before you back in

My review is not for February but many times throughout my life. I grew up in the area. They make their ice cream right there at their facility. There is a huge window in the dining area so children and adults can watch the ice cream being made as they eat. I remember enjoying that as a child. Their ice cream is absolutely the best hands down. They also deliver fresh milk and other items to your home. So worth a visit to anyone visiting the area.

The organization will not respond to job applications unless they're interested in a candidate. I've applied for multiple positions and never received any communication. A company of this scale should be capable of sending out rejection letters. The lack of professionalism in the application process is just wrong.

It is hard not to like REAL ice cream. This is one of the best ice cream locations anywhere in the area. Don't miss it!!

if you love ice cream this is the real deal, florida do not have them there so every time im back in illinois i get it wonderful flavors

Every time we come to the area we have to get ice cream here. They don’t have too many different or usual flavors like some of the upscale fancy places, but they have the best quality. The texture is creamy and smooth and nothing taste artificial. My personal favorite is mint chip! The floors could use a deep clean though, they were a bit sticky.

Our daughter's favorite place to go when in Aurora. In fact, it was the one thing she asked for after having her wisdom teeth out! Best ice cream I've had since my childhood dairy closed. Well worth the price!

great place for all ages especially on hot summer days after kids camp. lots of choice and friendly services. love the cones, thick shake, sundae. always leaving with fresh milk.

Have been going here for years. Huge fan of the ice cream and the location. Usually I get a frostbite. For an extra dollar, you can add chocolate chips in along with the cookie dough. If you haven't tried and enjoy cookie dough, 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful place to bring family and friends for dessert. A variety of delicious creations await you. A palate pleaser.
