Wonderful authentic bakery. We got boxes of assorted Italian cookies as holiday gifts. They are delicious.,The bread looks amazing, as do the other desserts.

I've been here 3 days in a row now. First time I got it A sandwich made out of focaccia with lunch meat. Amazing and chocolate cake donuts and chicken lemone. Today I was treated to the beef. Can't go wrong. Everything's homemade and the mother who serves you feels like your mother. Prices were amazing as well as the food.

Vegetarian options: During the holidays, as long as it's before 2:00 in the afternoon and you're driving close by, I suggest you stop by. And once you bite into the first piece of whatever you order, you'll know you have to come back no matter how far you live.

Parking: You're gonna love it love .

Do die for Italian food ! So delicious frozen lasagna,eggplant, focicia stuffed with sausage and 🍆 eggplant. The best. Italian sandwiches Delicious ,Italian cookies outstanding

Their French Bread stays soft and fresh for more days than the majority of other bakeries. Recommend the cold/ hot subs during the afternoon. Hot subs only on the weekdays, the meatball sub I feel is a hidden gem here! Try the combo sub. Any sub its a generous amount of delicious sub for the price. Try their pastries, custard/ rasberry donuts, lobster tail.

I wish more places like Vesuvio existed! Delicious baked goods and great service from the owners, they were so kind and welcoming. You walk in and the aroma of the place makes you so happy. You'll know when you see the place that you are getting something special.

I have tried the Combo in different places but this place definitely takes a place in my favorite spot starting NOW. Combo and water bottle for $8, you don’t find places like this anymore.

An OLD SCHOOL, Southern Italy Bakery
& Deli. The owner, who also appears to be The-Baker, gave me glimpse into how to run a successful business; spend a minute or 2 to speak w/your Customers, remember your “Regulars”-&-don’t forget to “bust-balls” wit’ ‘em too

Besides the familiarity to the vibe- this
outta the way Bakery that far outshines D’Amatos Bakery-partially due to each tube(Shell) being stuffed on demand.
Oh- & don’t you dare get a fancy flavored cannoli (Pina Colada-?)-
No self-respecting Italiano
(would EVER)
stray from the REGULAR- (“not too much PowderedSugar-please!)
only the regular will make you smile- broadly.

BTW- “North Riverside”-
happens to be SOUTH- and WEST-
and I did not see any
RIVERS-on my way dere, from CHICAGO.
So-whoever is “the Branding Genius”
that named this town,

Best Beef Sandwiches around for the price! You have to ask for extras for your beef and combos etc. I had ordered a beef and It came without peppers and not dipped and the flavor Is still excellent.?

The people that are nice the food is good and I've gotten stuff to make for dinner overall a lot of things that are most things there are all amazing you guys should definitely try it out

This place is awesome. Pastries are so good and clearly fresh. Folks behind the counter could not be more friendly and helpful.Was visiting family in the area (I’m from out of state) and had great interactions with everyone working. Will never visit again without stopping here at least once for something.
