Terrible place. The woman who runs this place is offensively rude and should not be dealing with customers under any circumstances. She is blatantly racist- there was a man who came in right after me who was the same ethnicity as me and she accused us of conspiring together to use two coupons. Ummm no ma’am, not every person of the same color is related. You would think she would know that being a minority herself. She purposely skimps on the portions, which may explain why the ice cream tastes like freezer burn. It would take years for her to get through a tub at the rate she doles it out. If you want decent ice cream you are literally better off at any other ice cream joint in town…and if you really want BRs, just buy a pint at your local Jewel, it will be fresher for sure!

Messed up my order completely (Uber eats delivery). They sent the wrong flavor (I selected from options provided on line). No hot fudge (I paid extra for it). When I called the store, I was told, “I told her to tell you we did not have that flavor.” Who is her??! Then she told me I did not order hot fudge, yet it’s right there on my order. She was rude and offered no assistance. I asked to speak to a manager to request a refund (for an order completely different than my order). She told me she would have someone call, then hung up. Horrible customer service!!

Been coming here for many years. Yes the inside could use a little bit of a refresh, but the ice cream is truly better tasting and more affordable than the newer place across the street. My kids ALWAYS pick this shop when we're treating them to ice cream. We hope they never leave downtown Northbrook!

Wish I read the reviews before coming here. $8 milkshake was all milk and only 3 scoops of ice cream…
Annoying and rude. Milkshake was incredibly liquid-y and refused to put topping on untouched ice cream that they had scooped and placed on counter. Will not be returning
