The food was good (nothing special.) Lots of potatoes in the veggie skillet, some veggies (could have been more) and eggs. It came hot but some others at our table said theirs was only warm. Our waiter was great. It’s a big, busy place. A bit pricey. They charged me for a pot of hot water and add a service charge if you use a credit card.

First and foremost.
The food. ☺️ Fantastic food. I'd recommend the Chilaquiles or the Jambalaya special. Fricken delicious.
Great portions and priced well. Especially nowadays, finding a place with food this good at those prices is fantastic. My group of friends does a brunch every 2 weeks and usually spend about $30 per person including tip. Last time 6 of us came to Butterhills and it was a great time.
Service and atmosphere don't get 5 star only because we were sat in the middle area and that was not enough space for the 6 of us. Table was cluttered and room was a bit sparce for 6 large fellows like myself haha
More than that however. The table extends to accommodate 6 but the ends literally tilt downwards. My food was on a slope the whole meal. Had to put my napkin underneath my plate to level it out and keep it from falling.
Tables like that just can't be use. Not when your portions are so amazing! Can't let all that heft fall off the table haha
Overall. Super super pleased with this place. We will definitely be coming back for another brunch some time.

First time going here, primarily because the congested parking lot with half of the north suburbs having breakfast here made my decision! Unbelievable amount of people, so I knew it had to be good. It was great! Best gluten free pancakes in Chicagoland! I had to ask the waitress if she was sure they were gluten free ~ you cannot tell the difference! Buttery, flavorful, moist, delicious. The Spanish Omelette was out of this world, served with salsa. The attention to the table is significant here, and if you pay in cash, they will discount your bill. An excellent find for breakfast! For singles, best to go around an hour, or an hour and a half before closing. It is so packed but there will be less traffic just before close. I didn't wait long because they gave me a small booth for singles. Several offers to fill coffee. They bring a to-go box plus bag. Very attentive service, helpful and kind waitresses, and the bussing is fast, thorough and effective at clearing tables. Great place! Nice management, great food, excellent service!
