It's a very nice restaurant. Expensive just like most others. My salmon was not very flavorful and a bit overcooked. Our waitress was very good and very accommodating. It was extremely busy due to a private party. The food was fair. Probably won't be rushing back.

The food and service were excellent. It is curious that for earlier available slots they inly offered high tops on open table even the the room had many other tables for 2. Additionally, the whole room had nicely lit lower level lighting in the main room but we were seated at the window with extremely bright lighting and very close to a larger party if people when there were many other 2 tops available in the main area that would have enabled quieter conversation.

This location is less romantic than the Lake Forest location. We did not enjoy the bright lights, tables too close together, we heard other people's conversations. It is a good place for family gatherings, not for a date night.
Francesca’s North is the BEST Italian restaurant in Northbrook! We recently had an event there and it was superb. From communicating with the Event director, Lisa, to the day of service, everything was great. The food is delicious and the menu includes all the Italian favorites. Portions are good. We were so pleased with the room we reserved - aesthetically it was modern with up to date decor. Service was excellent! We had Greg as our main server and he was professional, friendly, and very accommodating with our requests. Highly recommend Francesca’s for private events and everyday dining.
