The quality of the food has declined over the past year, and the nearly empty restaurant reflects this sad trend. Salad had wilted leaves and the ends of the lettuces head. Whitefish dish that had been excellent a year ago was now bland and lacking both salt and acid. Profiteroles remained a fantastic dessert option, but our coffee never arrived. Sad to see a lovely restaurant fading away.
Delicious Italian dinner. Got there during happy hour so enjoyed $8 glass of Pinot Noir with my meal. The service was fantastic. Food was out quickly. Great restaurant. I would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful Italian meal.
We have been to multiple Francesca locations but this was our first visit to the Northbrook one. I think they all have similar menus. This location has a nicer atmosphere than others. The food is always good and consistent. We all had different things - chicken, white fish and sausage pasta and all enjoyed our meals. Service was good. I would go back, but not my first choice of places to go in the suburbs.
The lunch menu is expensive!!! Pasta is all over $20!! I had the chicken tortellini which was bland and boring. Don't they know where the garlic is???? Will not chose this place in NB again.
Food was amazing and so was Alberto, our server. The Lemoncello was disappointing. Tasted like weak lemonade with no alcohol. Maybe a bad batch.
We had the best night at Francesca‘s! The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding. Our server, Alberto, went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt special on her birthday. I would highly recommend for a night out or any celebration.
It was a pleasure to have a delicious quiet lunch for a change. The salads were so fresh. The server was very attentive and nice. We were never made to feel that we had to rush out.
Very noisy. My order was mostly bread crumbs and very little eggplant. Noodles were undercooked
It's a very nice restaurant. Expensive just like most others. My salmon was not very flavorful and a bit overcooked. Our waitress was very good and very accommodating. It was extremely busy due to a private party. The food was fair. Probably won't be rushing back.
The food and service were excellent. It is curious that for earlier available slots they inly offered high tops on open table even the the room had many other tables for 2. Additionally, the whole room had nicely lit lower level lighting in the main room but we were seated at the window with extremely bright lighting and very close to a larger party if people when there were many other 2 tops available in the main area that would have enabled quieter conversation.

The good was delicious (Francesca's Salad, Spinach Ravioli, Eggplant Parmesan and tiramisu!). And the service nicely attentive.
It was our server's first night at Francesca's and he was exemplary! The service complimented the delicious food! We have been several times and plan to return several more to this gem.
Our server, Alberto, was amazing! Very attentive and gracious. Highly recommend!

This location is less romantic than the Lake Forest location. We did not enjoy the bright lights, tables too close together, we heard other people's conversations. It is a good place for family gatherings, not for a date night.
A bit crowded, but great food as always!
