There’s no doubt that this is the best ice cream shop in the greater Chicagoland area, however the staff is what makes the experience much more worth it each time we come. We came in a few nights ago and were helped by the lovely manager Zelle, who made my little brother’s birthday 10x better by not only treating him to a delicious sundae with a fun candy face and lots of sprinkles, but served it with a beautiful smile! Her and other staff were having lots of fun behind the counter and engaging in jokes and conversation with my family. They really made us feel like we were old friends to them, like regulars that they’ve known their whole lives, something you really don’t see anymore. You would think that’s how every service worker would be while working in ice cream? Nope, only at this Graeter’s. Thank you Zelle and thank you Graeter’s team!

My go-to flavor Vienna coffee was a little bland to me this visit ( is it me? Why do I always think it's me?) but my friend tried it too and they said it tasted like vanilla with a little splash of coffee. Still creamy and delish but not the flavor I needed. My companions had lemon meringue and buckeye and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Long line and plenty of customers tonight.

The best ice cream. Super creamy but not too heavy. The chocolate they use in their ice cream make it for me. My fave is the black raspberry chip and mint chip. Ahhh mazing!

Not only was the ice cream absolutely delicious, the service was awesome! The kids working there are so sweet and have amazing customer service skills. They are very efficient and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The ambience was very welcoming and the tables were clean. Obviously they are doing something right because it's always so crowded!! Props to you all.

This past August marked the very 1st time trying a Graeter's location and was a pleasant experience.Located in the heart of lovely downtown Northbrook, the locals are lucky to have this very limited ice cream chain.I can only imagine that the high-end brand does battle with the likes of Oberweis, Coldstone and Chocolate Shoppe venues.It was one of the last few warm days in August and we were sorta in the area so I figured it was about time to try something new for the kids.Excellent-tasting high quality ice cream and everybody enjoyed. Still reasonable prices in a squeaky clean atmosphere with superior service.If ever in the area again, will definitely stop in! I wish a prosperous & successful future for the owner(s).

Josh the manager was very rude, I had to use the bathroom, he run to me and stopped me. I told him, me and my wife customer here and my son is a regular customer , he told me that he doesn't care since there's a rally he isn't letting me use the bathroom. I told him I'm very disappointed, Josh the manager, told me that I don't have to come here and he doesn't care that I will tell to my son to stop to buy is weekly ice-cream cups and I don't have to come here. Must say, the ice cream is excellent but Josh the manager must learn manner and can't stay as a manager that supposedly need serve the community in Northbrook and keep the customer happy.

The ice cream is great, however. If I order it through Uber eats, give the driver the order. Was informed that due to your idiotic policy you won't give orders to drivers without the bags? The driver told me Uber doesn't provide them then canceled my order. I live 4 minutes away. If you refuse to give my order to the delivery guy then don't use uber eats for your business. Guess I'll be ordering elsewhere since I can't get my order delivered.

What a fantastic experience for my family with the great welcoming service from these gentlemen.Love the ambiance of this location in NB by the park. We went in on a ridiculously hot afternoon so ended up eating indoors - very clean and well laid out space.Loved my experience here!

This place was awesome, It was very cute at a nice location You can eat inside or outside. The servers were friendly and let you sample the ice cream . The menu was very full with choices of sundaes shakes cones and more . I chose peanut butter chip it was delicious I even compare it to my favorite place in CA Will must definitely go back again There is a park Accross the street for families Thanks for the great taste experience

Thanks to a promotion that offered some certificates for complimentary ice cream at the popular Graeter's Ice Cream shop to our daughter, and we are lucky that there's a shop right in town, we went there and checked it out. This ice cream shop is almost always busy, when we went on a late afternoon on a Monday, there was still a line, but it moved pretty quickly. The promotion was for a single scoop of ice cream on a sugar cone (it's $5.25 each on the price board). I got a signature Black Raspberry Chip, Hubby got the Black Cherry Chip, and daughter got the Mint Chip, and they were all delicious. I read that Graeter's makes small-batch ice cream with the French Pot process, which results in ice cream that is dense and rich. I like the ice cream that I ordered a lot, it had a nice flavor, and was creamy and smooth! However, even though I love chocolate, I don't care that much about the big chucks of chewy chocolates in the ice cream. Of course, this is only my personal taste. I wish there is an option for black raspberry without the chip. There are so many different flavors, though, I will try another flavor next time I go. The staff members that we had encountered were all friendly and welcoming. The place was clean. There were a lot of nice seating indoors and some outdoors. The Village Green Park is just right across the street. The views from the Graeter's shop are pretty nice. Although it could be pricey to some people, they do have a special for July, they are celebrating National Ice Cream Month and also their 153 years with $1.53 single-dip sugar cones, you do need to download their app though. If you like ice cream, I would highly recommend this shop!
