Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar, Northbrook

What a gem! Amazing food, upbeat atmosphere and great cocktails. Highly recommending the fried zucchini appetizer. Our server Diana was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable; she made our experience unique and super fun. Will definitely revisit!

While the food and service by Kimberli were outstanding and acknowledged our gluten free restrictions, I was particularly bothered by the manager who sat us then got us up to a new table with an odd excuse about their open table reservations and need for an 8 too which was never realized. We sat through dinner and were served the bill with zero acknowledgment of the inconvenience for repositioning under false or misleading conditions. Our bill was paid and when we brought this to the manager's attention, he dug in his heels and simply said " I'm sorry if this ruined your experience here tonight". ...and that was that. End of story.

Flavorless cannoli. The vodka pasta wasn’t creamy at all and they didn’t cut my pizza into slices. Not sure how this place has good reviews. Not real Italian food.

My husband and I can't enough of any of Napolita's extraordinarily delicious authentic Neopolitan-style pizzas or the Pomodoro Cimelio salad! If the set-apart, scrumptious food wasn't enough to bring us in, the ENTIRE STAFF is cheerful and sort of old school customer first friendly. Breezey was our fabulous waiter most recently - her attention to detail and warm professionalism made our culinary experience all the more wonderful. Whether we're picking up take-out, hanging out back during the nice weather, or cozying up to a table on the colder days, Napolita Pizzeria & Wine Bar in Northbrook is our new family favorite!

We walked in and there were literally 2 guys working up front by the oven. One of them had his back at us talking to the other one, and the other one literally made EYE CONTACT with us and said NOTHING. We stood there feeling like a bunch of idiots trying to catch eye contact with the guy again but he continued to literally AVOID EYE CONTACT. I am soooo perplexed that he can’t even say “can I help you?l” or “sorry we’re not open”, or at least also let the guy that he was freaking talking to that there were customers waiting to be seated. What bunch of clowns.

We walked in, the place was empty, 8 workers were there, they saw us and no one said anything to us after 5 minutes. Avoided eye contact with us and continued to have their own conversations. Made us feel unwelcomed and so we left. Left a really bad impression on us.

I hosted my second event at Napolita Northbrook today. I cannot say enough good things about the food and service. A special shout out to manager Zack. He also makes sure a party runs smoothly. Breezy and Diane were excellent servers and did a great job managing a large group. Adri and Maya made planning a breeze. You can’t beat that amazing patio and best food on the North Shore. Thank you!

Awesome food, great patio in the back. Lively, fun place. Great service from everyone, and a special call out to our waitress Breezy, who highly enhanced our experience with her warm, friendly service. We ordered a pizza in addition to our entrees because of Breezy’s enticing and interesting description of their unique pizza.

We recently held a party for my daughter at Napolita and it was great. The food was amazing! We worked with Zack to plan the menu and he knew exactly what we needed. Diana was our server and she made everyone feel special and seemed to know what we needed before we asked for it! Would definitely return.

I celebrated my 21st birthday on Saturday 8/31/24. I made reservations a little over a week in advance and everything went very smoothly and the person I talked with was very nice. When my party got there at 8pm the host was very nice and told us our table would be ready shortly. I work in service and completely understand that it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy. I had no issue waiting. We were able to sit down at our table 30 minutes later making it 8:30. Our waitress was very nice and all of our food came out fairly quickly considering there being 10 of us. We ordered drinks and the waitress brought me out a tiramisu for my birthday which I thought was very sweet! Up until that point I thought everything was great. As we were packing up to leave I needed to use the restroom so myself and 3 others went to the bathroom really quickly. As We were in the bathroom we hear voices outside saying “can they fing hurry up and a couple of “b*itches” being thrown around. As curious as we are we left the bathroom to see what was happening. To our surprise we see 3 waitresses standing by the glass doors that lead out to the patio staring at our table. I understand it being 10pm on a Saturday night and everyone was probably tired from the busy day but comments like that should definitely be said after the party is gone. I made direct eye contact with one of the waitresses and they continued to give us dirty looks as we were packing up to leave our table. I think it’s extremely rude and unprofessional to make your attitude that present and aware to the customers. It’s not like we stayed after close and there was still 30 minutes of the restaurant being open by the time we left. While I do find sympathy for wanting to relax and go home after a long busy day, we were seated 30 minutes late, it would be unreasonable for a party of 10 to leave within an hour of being seated. We weren’t even given a goodbye as we were leaving. I really did like the food and the atmosphere but no one should be treated in that manner and especially just wanting to celebrate my birthday with friends. I will not be coming back and I do hope no one else will have to experience this.
