Nicer service than I remember and our table of 3 all enjoyed our lunch very much. A quiet and good spot that I often forget about, but need to come back more. Their popovers are the best!

Our server was very attentive. We always love coming here for lunch. One of the bus boys spilled a glass of water on me. He did not handle it great and barely apologized. The maitre d saw what happened and right away asked if we were ok and offered to comp our lunch, seeing how I was pretty drenched. It was super nice and exactly how I would have expected it handled. She was great. I know accidents happen but it was just too bad the bus boy didn't seem apologetic. We will of course be returning!
The weight staff was very attentive and polite. We never had to wait very long for anything. The food was delicious and plentiful. The popovers were outstanding as usual. We were slightly disappointed in the cookie for dessert since it was a little dry.

I haven't been to Neiman Marcus in quite a few years, so I wanted to go back for old time's sake. I had this lunch that was really good that consisted of chicken salad, a little bit of fresh fruit in a little cup, a little piece of sweet bread like cinnamon bread, (something like that), and a mandarin orange mold. (I used to have this lunchquite a lot whenever I go to Neiman Marcus for lunch.) I was pleased with the chicken salad, and the fresh fruit tasted wonderful; but the sweet bread was dry all over which surprise me because their bread has always been soft and the orange mold was tasteless which also surprised me. I could not taste any orange in it at all and I remember when it used to have a strong orange flavor. I don't know if they forgot to put it in, but I wasn't too happy about that. Anyhow I would give the lunch 50-50 instead of the usual 100%. Now for dessert I had their mint chocolate chip gelato, which was totally amazing and was also given a big scoop of it in the dessert dish. To me, that definitely made up for the two minor faults of the lunch. :) I will definitely be back, but I'll just not have that particular lunch item anymore. I'll just have something else.

NM Cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy a long lunch. The room is sunny and bright. The service is attentive. The complimentary broth and popover is a unique touch (I could eat just that and be satisfied!). The chicken salad my sister ordered was quite bland, so it was replaced with another dish. Everything else was delicious.

My niece and I have our annual Holiday brunch at NM whether in OB or NB. Since OB closed we were happy to be back since COVID and the death of my mom, we have missed the treat since 2019. We were happy and sad all at the same time. But the festive cafe and the wonderful ambience made the event memorable. Thank you!

I am very sensitive to noise so I asked for a specific table. It was waiting for us when we got there. Our server Sam is the best. He made sure everything was perfect. He's very nice and accommodating. Everybody knows the popovers were outstanding. I love the tuna fish. I wish they didn't get rid of their Thousand Island dressing. It was a great experience. A perfect way to start the holiday weekend.

NM Cafe is a delightful experience for lunch or a special occasion lunch. The service is friendly and very attentive. The food is not only delicious but presented beautifully. The decor is beautiful, bright and sophisticated. There is not alot of noise and the room is conversation friendly.

Sadly, the restaurant is not as good as it used to be. The food, once outstanding and we could hardly wait to return, has now slipped to average. Nor is it worth the price! It was always pricey, but it's no longer worth it. Either improve the taste of your food, or lower the prices. You cannot serve mediocre meals and charge big bucks.
I always find going to nm cafe a treat. The pop overs are yummy. This time mine was a bit over cooked but still tasty. My chair had a big stain on it, and our waitress accidentally spilled coffee all over one side of the table. ( the top came off) The food (I had the love salad) is good, but for 27 dollars it should be excellent. Overall it was nice, but definitely needs some improvements.

I was there celebrating a friend's birthday. The waitress was wonderful and she discreetly picked the perfect birthday cake, which was a fun surprised for my guest. We can't wait to come back.
