Fantastic food in a neat little corner of town. They worked with us on allergy concerns and offered to make several things dairy-free for my wife - she settled on the veal Marsala and loved it. Sitting outside on the patio and watching the evening passenger trains come through was really fun too!

The tomato sauce is the best we have had in a long time. Bread is crusty and fresh. The shrimp, fish, veal and chicken dishes were all tasty and tender. Suggestion: add a veg to entrees.

We just enjoyed the most delicious birthday dinner with attentive service. From the wine recommendation to the bread to the entre to the dessert - everything was as close to perfect. We asked 3 locals where to enjoy italian quality food and service, and they all said the same thing. It's a shame I don't live here.

Love the food...casual and intimate atmosphere! Downtown Northbrook's best! Stopped in yesterday and took advantage of their carry-out service....took home the veal parm dinner upgraded with the meat sauce. These ladies do a wonderful job always! Northern Italian cuisine at its best.

This place ain't what it used to be. The eggplant came out cool at best and the sauce not very flavorful, side of pasta was overcooked and again sauce not so great. My wife's pomodoro was just overcooked pasta with not very great sauce. The salad dressing was the same although they forgot to bring it and the whole meal was rushed in an emptying restaurant. The lights came on bright at 9:00 on the spot and we felt like we were being kicked out. This was a go to place for us a number of years ago and kind of stopped going shortly before covid. I'm not sure we will return

Food and service was unbelievably good. I got the spinach Lasagna and it blew my mind. They also have such a great menu that even though I loved my dish I found myself wishing I could of ordered other things just because they looked so good. My only gripe is the space, they are working with very little space and they really are using every inch to the max to fit as many tables as possible. You still have plenty of space to enjoy you're meals I just found myself getting anxious of bumping someone's table or knocking stuff off my tiny table.
