I have been going to Hofherr Meat since they opened their doors 10 years ago and I can tell you that this is the best source of top quality meat in the Northern suburbs. Arielle, Sean and their team are always professional, accommodating and go out of their way for their customers every day. Whether it is the Beef, Pork, poultry, In-house made sausages...they just do everything well.They will source pretty much anything if you give them a little notice. Thanksgiving dinner was amazing, all made by Hofherr. Delicious smoked turkey, never dry cornbread and andouille sausage stuffing, rich, creamy gravy, uniquely flavored mashed potatoes, wild rice salad, and green bean casserole. All I had to do was warm it up at 325 degrees. Feast for my family.

Popped into Hofherr just before they closed tonight and bought a cooked chicken which was sooooo delicious and a surprise were the very yummy sliced potatoes in the same container.We enjoyed the chicken, potatoes and beans for dinner.10/10 for taste and quality.

Excellent selection of fresh meat. They also make meals that they freeze. The chicken parmesan is great. They also have a stuffed pork tenderloin that is superb. Extremely friendly staff.

Outstanding! Our Thanksgiving 20 lb. bird was devoured in two days. Best turkey we've ever made. So tender and juicy. The lamb stew meat I ordered a couples of months ago was equally outstanding. So much better than regular grocery store meat/poultry selections. High quality and extremely fresh!
