A decently inexpensive place to go if you're craving some breakfast! The menu is pretty delectable overall, save for a few misses. I wouldn't recommend diverging from the classic's here. Get the skirt steak and eggs. I've been coming here since I was 5 years old, so 41 years. They used to give me hot dog gum when I was kid inspiring my love of wiener dogs. Must go if you're in the area.
What a great find in the Northfield community. The food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from including breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare. The California Wrap was large, enough for a full meal and take home. The Turkey Club was also well stacked with tasty fries. Inside was well laid out, conversation level with ease, and table service was excellent as well. All in all if in the northern suburban area of Chicago, definitely a small off the main drag stop to make.
