I love the ambiance, our server Miguel was very friendly, attentive, and gave good food and wine suggestions! The food was excellent! We had the garlic mashed potatoes as an appetizer. The entrees were Chicken Tinga Tacos, and the Brisket Penne! Dessert was delicious, which was the Banana bread pudding! Great choice! We will be back!

The server had no will to live and was completely dissenterested and miserable. The food was incredibly bland but edible. The atmosphere was fine, not noteworthy.

I was mistaked in my previous evaluation of th Happ Inn. They do have a marvelous Event venue and a planning service is noted at the front desk. The service and food tonight were exceptional.

A pleasant place for lunch or dinner - nicely presented and tasty salads and entrées. Not noisy, and does not have tvs everywhere, so it is a great place to have conversations with your friends and family!

Website isn’t clear. Burger is suppose to come with fries and did not. No option to add ketchup and mustard – so I called the restaurant and they said they would add it to the order but they did not. Will not be ordering from them again.

The Happ Inn is a staple in our family, and it's delicious! I love the comforting yet fun vibe here, it's super large so you can enjoy yourself at the bar with bit TVs, or have a large group dinner with family and friends in the dining area. Definitely feels like a Chicago/North Shore staple spot. The night we visited the place wasn't too busy, so service was nice and quick. All of the employees we encountered were helpful and kind. For dinner, I ordered the Willow Road salad with Grilled Chicken and it was fantastic. It's the perfect blend of flavors, I love the sweetness from the dates and croutons plus the creamy avocado and goat cheese. My grilled chicken was also moist and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot in Northfield!

Great customer service from host to the wait staff we were greeted very politely at the entrance by two younger ladies. Seated very quickly on a mildly busy night. Our waiter had some great drink recommendations which we went with and enjoyed. All of the food came out hot and accurate to our liking. As the night progressed we usually don’t stick around restaurants for desert but since the night was going so well we decided we had to try the bread pudding. We did not regret our decision. Overall great meal 10/10 would come again. Special thank you to Mia and Andrew who helped make the visit extra memorable.

The goat cheese app, turkey chili and lobster roll were fantastic! The lobster mac and cheese was okay. The side of brussel sprouts were mushy. My friend and I wanted to split the lobster roll and lobster mac. Our server was very clear it would be $2 more to have half of each plated together. We said that was just fine. When we received the bill we were charged $27.95 for the lobster mac (it is listed on the menu at $24.95) and $37.95 for the lobster roll (it is listed on the menu at $31.95). When we brought this to our server attention he said he told us it would be more expensive. We reminded him he said $2 more, not $9 more. He seemed very annoyed with us. He told us his manager would only take off $3. I am jus so confused as to how we can be upcharged like that. Why have a menu with set prices?Parking: There is a large lot but it was full. I parked on the side.

This is a fun restaurant with high quality food. Every meal served to our party of four was both lovely and Demi delicious.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is a great choice for gluten free food. The chicken enchiladas are particularly delicious.
