We are not from the area, but stopped here after my son's football game for some lunch. They definitely lived up to their name! The carnitas were probably the best we've had! My wife and kids got the tacos with rice and beans and I got the 1 lb. of carnitas with a side of guac and chips. It looks like they weigh up the carnitas AFTER they cook them which I was impressed by. All very good! Would definitely go back if we didn't live an hour and a half away.
My first time eating here. Food was very hood. The gentleman that took my order was very kind and patient. He also gave us a sample of the beef. They were not stingy with the meat either. Stop by and try them out. I don't think you will be disappointed.
WOW!! Today we tried Don Alfredos for the first time,THEY WERE DELICIOUS! Easily the best carnitas we've ever had! We are a dealership located in chicago so we have some good options for carnitas but these were the juiciest and most flavorful ones weve had. We also tried the chicharron en chile verde its was the perfect amount of spice and such a good flavor! Definitely visiting whenever we want to eat fresh carnitas.
