That waitress is really rude! Like somehow you ruined her day by being there. I don't like to leave bad reviews. Just honest. We got over charged. Menu prices aren't accurate. Place smelled really bad soon as we walked in. Tables were greasy. My co worker said everything even silverware had layer of grease on it. The food was okay. We got tacos of asada and birria. I had a huge chunk of bone in my second birria taco so i stopped eating. It looked like a toe nail at first. Had to get second opinions. It was too thick and had the bone cavities on other side luckily. See pictures. We took a gamble on this place cuz it was close. We're never going back there. I would never recommend this place.

Register lady has the worst attitude, not friendly or polite at all. She was rude and mean, any questions related to the menu seem to bother her. Food was ok, nothing special. Halloween decor was overwhelming. Not recommended at all.

The ambiance of the restaurant is kinda mexican. Has lots of mexican deco’s.
I went here for a quick lunch. I ordered a soup and to be honest it really lacks some flavor and taste. For an order of soup and a soda, i paid $27. I cant image.

This has got to be the only Mexican food restaurant that offers a variety of the most tasty and Delicious seafood dishes among other dishes that are very delicious at the very lowest pricese I have ever experienced since before all the price goutching prices went up. they either missed the part where the entire countries cost of living went up a purse and wallet hurting 30% increase. or they simply figured that price foitching is illegal and remained honest. with their respected clientel.
Every plate is carefully prepared and served appropriately to satisfy and impress your taste buds. I highly recommend this place you will not b disappointed. and every time Im in Chicago I am going to make the best out of my trip by stopping there.

Parking: There appear to be sharing parking with locations to the left and right of the restaurant. when i got there there was a car parked to the left and two empty spaces after and to my right, 4 empty spaces and one or 2 vehicles followed by more spaces.. there was alot of traffic due to being lunch hours for many making it hard to het into the lot and leaving the lot. Just have to be oatient and wait for some6ri give you the right of way... again arriving and leaving. other than that... its all good.
Kid-friendliness: not only do they have a kids menu but also they have mexican goods such as candy like payason cajeta mazapanes among pastries n other goods.. go get it

The person in charge of collecting steals from your account, be very careful, the name on the ticket is Teresa.
I didn't argue with her because she is already an older woman, but apparently it was $20 dollars that she stole from me, she added something else to my ticket and increased the price of the barbecue.

We went for Father's Day,my father likes this place,he has been there before. It was a table of 12, our first time. They put together a couple of tables and sat us down. It's a small place, looks outdated and could use some updating. The tables were sticky and the place was hot inside. Our waitress sat us down and took our drink order, came back and ordered our food. Some of us ordered tacos which were good, I ordered the camarones sarandiados , which were alright,I only got like 8 shrimp in a spicy sauce which wasn't that spicy like the menu said. My other family got fried fish in garlic sauce and a plate of Chiles rellenos, which were good but not great, only three tortillas per plate, we had to order more. The waitress an older lady had an attitude when asked questions about the food or the bill, I don't know if that's the way she is or she was frustrated from having to take care of all the other tables. Reading the other reviews I believe she just has an attitude all the time. I have never been to a restaurant and have the waiters be with an attitude, we spent close to 300.00 dollars ,she should have been happy that new customers were going to the restaurant. As far as my family and I , we won't be going back, if my parents want to they can go without us next time. The food is ok nothing great, the service can be a lot better, if she was happier it would have made our visit much better. If you want ok food and a server with a bad attitude then this place is for you. Also the menu is outdated, the prices are not what they charge you.

Good food. Good price.
The staff was surprised I wanted the beef with cactus, but promised it would be tasty. It was! Full selection of Jarritos available is always a plus. The home fried chips were hot and the salsa appropriately spicy. It was more food than I needed for a lunch but not overbearing. Will be back!

This place had good food, but very poor service. All of the prices on the menu are from years ago and they have not been updated and they let you believe that what you were ordering will be a certain price until you go to pay and everything is about $35-60 more than what you thought you were going to pay. Then they don’t even compromise and help you out. They just force you to pay the price. The bathrooms had zero light and the waiters don’t come around to see if you need anything while you are eating. Do not be fooled by the prices on the menu. They are about double what they are. Again, they were very unapologetic about not letting us know the prices in advance. Most likely will not return.

Restaurantji Recommends
They charge very expensive, they charge you double what the menu says on the menu because those are not the prices and because they don't change them, it's a robbery, that doesn't mean thieves.
This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. They don’t charge you according to the prices on the menu and they don’t let you know until after you’ve ordered that the menu’s prices are from 20 years ago! On top of that, the waitress said we should’ve know !!!! Like dude we’re not even from here, we were just passing by! They charge you like it’s a fine dining restaurant…..?
Delicious
Very tasty. Authentic. Doña Teresa is a sweet lady
Really delicious food, the meat is so tender and juicy, the chicken breast supreme is really good and full of flavor.. the service is good. They also have hand-made tortillas and plenty of seafood dishes to choose from
