Our waitress was super attentive. She and the hostess were very personable. We ordered salad selections for lunch, and they were delicious! Will definitely be back.

Our Alter Brewery experience was above all expectations. Food was great for Tailgating Fare. Again, above expectations. We sat at the Bar...servers/bartenders were very good. Chicago Bears 🐻 player experience was very nice — Gary Fencik was nice and down to earth.

We've been going here for a couple months. Food is always pretty good, but the service has steadily gotten worse and worse. Really rubbed some salt in the wound by counting 2 6-month-old babies in our party to hit the 10 people for the automatic gratuity and provided with awful service. Will not be going back

We attended a special event feaduring Dan Hampton from the 1985 bears. Our ticket included a 4 Beer sampler. There was a question and session as well as an autograph session and of buffet that was very good but probably not indicative of the items on the menu. Obviously a sportsman would be excited to go to an event like this. The service food and beer as well as the event lived up to high expectations and I anxiously await returning for the next event THE DON has Spoken!

I had not been to Alter Brewing in Oak Brook. I went because Dan Hampton has always been my favorite Chicago Bears player, so I attended the meet & greet with him. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how organized the event was orchestrated. The food and drinks were great and the service was phenomenal. Even with a packed house of 180 people for the private event, the staff was friendly, prompt and prepared. The overall idea of hosting 3 events with 85 Chicago Bears players & giving away a 6-pack of their favorite beer, with their number on it was genius! The buffet was well thought of with Chicago favorites and some surprises like pretzel, Bear claws. with queso. The moderator was asked good questions and lead his conversation with Dan well. The staff was so organized & friendly while fans met and had Dan sign memorabilia. They took pictures on fan's phones and kept the line moving smoothly. To summarize, I had a wonderful, exciting experience at Alter Brewing, Oakbrook and I will return. Bear Down!

Had a great time at the Dan Hampton Beer release at Alter. Food was delicious. The beer, while lighter than expected, was still good. And the service was stellar. So grateful to Alter for this collaboration with the ‘85 Bears.

First time here, very accommodating to my groups probably annoying party size change (super super appreciative of them). Food was fantastic and great portions. Very lively and beautiful space.

This was my second time here. The waitress was extremely rude. We ordered from the happy hour menu then needed some time to digest before ordering a main dish which seemed to annoy her. Additionally she made a comment about the number of times she needed to refill my water. This was insensitive and rude. She has no idea what is going on with someone and why they may require something. The food is good but I wish the service would improve

Great food, very impressed! Iwould absolutely recommend eating here if you were not in a rush cause while staff was very nice they were not attentive and dissappear often.
Really good food, drinks and service. Extreme noise level due to time of night, like most popular establishments. Pricing is a bit high but worth it, particularly with the loyalty program.

Odd beer selection for a brewing company, no amber beer except a very sweet cherry, no dark beer except a very sweet s'mores, and the food was overly spicy, at least the shrimp tacos and steak frites were. Our server was good, but we will not likely be back any time soon. Also the parking lot was extremely full and impossible to find a spot. We circled around for 10 minutes and waited until someone left.

Honestly a let down. I had a steak over fries, it was dry. The fries were over seasoned. The steak was dry and chewy and the sauce they put on top was too salty. Definitely not going back.
