The butternut squash ravioli is to die for! Absolutely delicious. My friend had the shrimp pasta and said it was fantastic.
A real gem. Food and service are always perfect. It's our spot to celebrate special occasions, but also great for a quick delicious bite
Great atmosphere and ambience. The food was very good, and a fair price. But the experience was disappointing because of the very slow service. The waitress was nice and very friendly but it took nearly 20 minutes for the her to take our drinks order and another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive.
Food was outstanding! The service was the best we ever had; Victoria was absolutely perfect! Thanks Victoria for contributing to our 25th wedding anniversary and making it a wonderful evening. Also, Tom the manager thank you for all you've done in the past and your great sense of humor last night!
Noise level is low, so we can talk. They do not rush us out. My group loves this restaurant! The servers are very attentive. The food is tasty!
Started off with the Antico Fashioned for a cocktail - excellent. I had the Steak Giardiniera with the Giardiniera on the side so I could apply to my taste. My wife had the Pistachio Crusted Whitefish. Both were excellent choices with the meats nice and tender as well as very tasty. The potatos with my steak were fantastic the way they were prepared. Our server, Memo, was outstanding with assistance and attention.
I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and this is probably one of only three lettuce entertain your restaurants that are worth the visit
Not sure we visited on an off day or that some of what we ordered was just good but not the great that it usually is. Value was surprisingly non-existent, which is also not the usual. From the 6 small strips of calamari for $16.95 to the mediocre & small portioned Trofie pesto at $19.95, our meal felt like inflation and a bad day in the kitchen, had taken precedence. Splitting a Caesar salad looked like a few bite taste, when it's also usually more ample. The rigatoni vodka seemed stingy as well. A $117.87 lunch sans alcohol is usually a lot better. My family and friends love Antico Posto, we've been dining here for years, so we'll certainly return. I was just shocked by the obviously smaller portions and the ho hum pesto pasta.
We had a great experience for lunch at Antico Posto. The service was great. Our server came by several times to get us refills. We both had the Eggplant Parmesan. It came out hot and delicious! .
I love sitting outside when the weather is beautiful. Having my favorite food at Antico Posto makes it perfect. I almost always have the eggplant Parmesan because no one makes it as good as they do. Why they don't open more restaurants in Illinois is a mystery to me.

We dined outside and had drinks (happy hour) and eggplant Parmesan. Service was very slow for the late afternoon. We found it quiet outside and enjoyed the eggplant. Wish they would stop adding the surcharge even though you can request they take it off...
The food was amazing! Our serves was very knowledgeable about the food and gave great recommendations! Perfect for a girls night out.
Seating policy a little dated - everyone must be there to sit, but service and food were quite good. Shrimp scampi app was delicious. Free gardinera/oil/cheese/olive mix provided with bread was fantastic. Meals we had included scallops, strip steak gardinera, and special: risotto with fillet, mushrooms, onion, and balsamic got great reviews. Drinks were strong and high quality. It was a very good meal.
Service was great! Food was excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance and the wait staff were very friendly. We will return.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and noted that while making our Open Table reservation. Our server did not acknowledge the special occasion at all, which was disappointing. We've dined at Antico Posto for many years. Recently it seems the prices have increased with each and every visit.
