I love sitting outside when the weather is beautiful. Having my favorite food at Antico Posto makes it perfect. I almost always have the eggplant Parmesan because no one makes it as good as they do. Why they don't open more restaurants in Illinois is a mystery to me.

We dined outside and had drinks (happy hour) and eggplant Parmesan. Service was very slow for the late afternoon. We found it quiet outside and enjoyed the eggplant. Wish they would stop adding the surcharge even though you can request they take it off...

Seating policy a little dated - everyone must be there to sit, but service and food were quite good. Shrimp scampi app was delicious. Free gardinera/oil/cheese/olive mix provided with bread was fantastic. Meals we had included scallops, strip steak gardinera, and special: risotto with fillet, mushrooms, onion, and balsamic got great reviews. Drinks were strong and high quality. It was a very good meal.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and noted that while making our Open Table reservation. Our server did not acknowledge the special occasion at all, which was disappointing. We've dined at Antico Posto for many years. Recently it seems the prices have increased with each and every visit.

This has always been one of our favorite restaurants and we have been here dozens of times. I was disappointed with my dish on the last visit. It is advertised as pistachio-crusted whitefish. What I received was either poached or sautéed fish sprinkled with breadcrumbs and ground pistachios. when I hear pistachio crusted, it is my understanding that the breading is something that is cooked along with the fish. The dish had way too much butter in it. The mashed potatoes had so much butter, they were runny.

Excellent service at lunch time. Very personable and attentive. Well-timed presentation of appetizers and entrees, all of which were beautifully prepared and tasty. Both desserts we ordered were amazing.

Food arrived room temperature. Manager quickly replaced the meal. They do not microwave/reheat food. Worth the short wait for a fresh meal. Thank you
Waited quite long time for server to take drink order. 2 entrees arrived burnt (but was told they were seared) seared gnocchi shouldn't have a scorched, bitter acrid taste which they did. Manager begrudgingly told us they were prepared correctly after we requested new orders.

We took my 24 year old grandson to lunch for his birthday. The salmon Vesuvio was ok except the potatoes were overcooked and dry. The beet salad was fairly good. The ricotta spread was over sweetened (with honey) and a bit overpriced. They brought a complimentary dessert for my grandson's birthday, which was a nice gesture. Our server was fine, but not very friendly...she seemed bored with it all. We sat at an outdoor table, it was a fairly nice day and we enjoyed the brightness of the outdoors vs the somewhat dim interior of the restaurant. No major complaints, but we've been to better Lettuce Entertain you restaurants for the money.

Why is it that ever time we visit we can't access the Lettuce app? Scratch off season doesn't matter when you can't access the app. Server could care less This has been our go too rest for everything as it was yesterday for my wife's 60th birthday. Disappointing for sure
