We had a wonderful brunch with our family and really enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy décor that made the place feel welcoming. It was a bit on the noisy side, but overall the vibe was fun and lively. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and it made for a great family outing. We’ll definitely be back!

Atmosphere was good but I ordered the Poke and the quality and portion was not good; especially for the price I’m paying this was one of the worst Poke I had. My wife ordered the avocado toast and again the portion size was so small (just one bread with avocado!) and the quality was subpar. We feel this place is just more about the atmosphere and look but everything was too expensive for the portion size and quality. We would never go to another Beatrix again.

I came to Beatrix in Oakbrook for my birthday lunch with my husband, and it was fantastic. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. They have great gluten free options, which I really appreciate, and everything we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it made the day feel special. I cannot wait for the chance to go back again. Highly recommend!

Food is awesome. Bakery is great. I personally enjoy the lunch menu best. The turkey smash burger is amazing. On my last visit I left my wallet at the table, when I got back to it, the manager had it pulled aside, with everything in tact. Truly great service and attention to client.

I was diappointed as I had been there about a month ago for lunch and had their whitefish and was taking 2 cousins to try the whitefish. They took it off the lunch menu. Very disappointed. Had the prime burger which was excellent, but had my taste buds on the whitefish.

Great food, great staff — but one interaction left a disappointing mark.
My family and I had dinner at Beatrix Oak Brook and overall the experience started out excellent. The Korean Fried Chicken was delicious, the drinks were great, and our server was kind, attentive, and professional throughout.
Unfortunately, something unexpected happened that changed the tone of the evening. Near the end of our appetizer, my mom found a piece of plastic-like material in the dish. We didn’t want to make a scene — we simply set it aside and informed our server after finishing, just so the kitchen could double-check.
The server handled it perfectly. The manager did not.
He came back saying the chef believed it was “just a piece of cabbage.” That’s fine — disagreements happen. But when my mom clarified that she had actually chewed it and it felt like plastic, the manager responded, “Well, my chef is not going to chew on it.”
For a restaurant of this caliber, that comment felt unnecessary and dismissive. We weren’t looking for a refund or a replacement dish — only a bit of care and acknowledgment. The rest of the staff was wonderful, but that one interaction left a surprisingly sour aftertaste after an otherwise great meal.
I hope this is taken as constructive feedback. A little more grace and sensitivity from management would have made this a five-star evening.

I arrived a little early and they were very prompt in opening on time. Even the small tables were comfortable with enough room. Our server was flawless and the food was served hot and quickly. Nothing was rushed and plenty of time given for everything from ordering to paying the check. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning.
