a great place to sit down with friends and enjoy burgers, shakes, and loaded truffle fries dipped in truffle butter.
This place is a great spot to get some awesome twists on an American classic! I really love the variety of burgers that they have and the full bar was a nice surprise as well.
I went to DMK Burger Bar for the first time recently and everything was delicious! They have a full bar and their drinks are great and the beer selection was spot on. This is great for a group dining option since they have generous sized shareable dishes that are also amazing! Service was fast. I definitely will be back! the Brussels sprouts were my favorite!
We had such a great experience while attending their Bachelorette Monday. Great food & drinks, plenty of options and such a friendly staff.
I can't rave enough about DMK Burger Bar! The Guacamole Burger is a must-try – the creamy guacamole, tangy salsa, and juicy beef patty create an explosion of flavors. The Angry Fries are the perfect pairing, offering a spicy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The vibe at DMK is always fun, whether you're there for trivia night or just a casual meal. It's easy to see why they've been featured on Food Network and named Chicago's Most Iconic Burger by Eater.
Trying grass fed beef burger for the first time and it was so good! Went on a Friday evening and it was full house. I went on a rainy night so wasn't expecting it to be so busy, but loved the ambiance for a Friday evening. Despite how packed it was, service was great and food didn't take long. Here's what we ordered: -sunrise burger: perfect combination of jalapeño, runny egg, and bacon. It was so delicious. -big DMK: my dining mate who typically order medium rare (not sure if he did this time) said it was a bit dry. Would opt for a single patty next time -fries: Parmesan cheese & truffle cream. Need I say more? It was addicting with the burger. The cream dip made it fun to eat fries and I couldn't stop going for it. -wings & drums: blueberry bbq & buffalo. Honestly, the color of blueberry bbq was intimidating but once I got past the colors, it was sweet bbq and was tasty. I preferred blueberry bbq over buffalo, but I liked the onion strings that came with it. -Brussels sprouts: I always order Brussels sprouts whenever I can and this was crispy, yet sweet. Some places make it soggy and I hate it but this was warm in the center, crispy on the outside. It was a perfect mix w bacon, cheese, and glaze. One of my favorite. Drinks: -hibiscus refresher: so pretty in color. Not to sweet. I liked the touch of tea and lemon flavor, that wasn't too strong in tea flavor Buzzin: I like gin so I ordered. Not as sweet as hibiscus drink but it was a good one to finish off my meal.
DMK does everything right, which is probably why it's been around for so long!! I love that they do a burger special - I tried the jalapeño popper burger and loved it. The staff was so attentive to me. And the inside is so spacious! You HAVE to order their milkshakes - they're to die for!!
One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I can see why this is such a go-to in Lincoln Park! Highly recommend for a delicious dinner!
Loved the old location so much, and love the original location. The menu is the same, but the food is completely different.

I've been going to this company for over 10 years. But the suburb location scene to bounce around a lot. And never stay open for a long period of time. I went to the oakbrook location. To find out that they moved. I was very sad cuz I really wanted a nice burger from the guys.

We got our burgers in a timely fashion but 2 out of the 4 burgers had burned buns. And the fries were the cheap “high school cafeteria” crinkle cut fries. Not at all the usual DMK fries we were expecting. I don’t pay extra money for microwaved crinkle cut fries. Absolutely ridiculous. And the girl cashier was on her phone the whole time, bar tender woman didn’t know how to make any of our drinks and didn’t have any ingredients for the drinks on the menu. Overall, very disappointed.

On my most recent visit, DMK (Oak Brook) stood for Didn't Make it Korrectly. Two of the four items in my order were wrong, but as I was crunched for time, I just let it go rather than complain. When the order came out, I immediately regretted not choosing another restaurant in the food court. It was probably my last time eating DMK.The two times I have dined at the Oak Brook location, the food has been just meh and overpriced (an $11 kids meal that is 80% fries and one overcooked slider?).The burgers were outstanding when I dined at the Lombard full-service restaurant before it closed. Something has changed, and not for the better.
