The choices on the many menus were vast and the dishes were delicious from the avocado appetizer to the special salad to the special dinner that included a choice of wine, salad, steak,or shrimp etc.And dessert! The waiters did teamwork and the managers were visible and helpful There is now also a special harvest menu that looked delicious with a pumpkin ravioli that we want to get next time
No restaurant has the exquisite variety of menu items and pulls it off better than the Kona Grill. Their staff is wired to please. What nice people.
Overall my experience was not good. I am thankful to Kona Grill for their generosity on Veteran's day and would like to say the manager is wonderful. I did not like my meal, but the other guests enjoyed the parmesean sole and macadamia nut chicken. As for Veteran's day, I had never been to Kona Grill before. There was no steak in the restaurant, which was part of the restaurant's Veteran's day thank you meal. The manager was very gracious and did compensate us, however, all the bills were messed up at the end, we were charged for a round of drinks that were never brought to the table. After 30 minutes of waiting for the drinks, we just asked for the check. I ended up paying for part of my meal due to inconsistent Veteran's day rules. Idk, just kinda disappointed in the service the most. Unfortunately, I will not go back and will stick to my regular and consistent restaurants.
My overall experience at Kona Grill was poor. I had never been to this restaurant before, but I am a veteran and they were having a Veterans Day special . Unfortunately, the special they had was not filled as advertised. We were seated, and we did change the number of people in our reservations, but it still took them a while to see us, and after they came to explain that the veteran specials or not as we thought, the service was even less satisfying . We were going to stay and just move seats so that our group was smaller to accommodate the veteran special, but they never came back to accommodate us with that or even offer for drinks . The place was not at all busy as there was only a few customers in there . It was 1 pm I would have liked to have tried this place, but I am bitterly sad with the service they provided to veterans this day . Makes me think that places get on board for Veterans Day, but provide little to bare minimum service to say they are supporters of Veterans which is misleading. It's one day a year we are speaking of. Oh well. I do thank other restaurants that gave a little to those that gave so much.
Took my husband here for their Veterans Day special. It was the smallest turf and turf entree I have ever seen. Definitely not 6 oz of filet and only 4 small shrimps. Not enough to feed a toddler. Service was slow and food took a while to arrive even though the restaurant was almost empty. Waiter referred to my husband and I as fellas. Very strange as I am clearly a women. Wouldn't come back or recommend.
Not sure why but on a Monday by 6pm, Kona ran out of rib eye and the salmon special. Apparently a table before us ordered the last ones for both. Additionally it took them 30 to make a modelo apparently from scratch and serve it. Very disappointing.
It took too long to get our food they only had 1 cook in the kitchen and it was maybe 15 people in the restaurant
The server disappeared and appeared to have forgotten our table. It took quite some time before he returned to check on our food. He was supposed to bring the manager, but I ultimately had to ask another server to do so. Overall, I was very disappointed with his service.
The happy hour appitizers were very good. The shrimp and meatballs were excellent. Our sons had several of the sushi rolls which they enjoyed. Natalie, our server, was fantastic.
Sunday afternoon, and few people in the restaurant. We started with potstickers, then various entrees, then finished with dessert and coffee. Food was generally good, but portions very small, especially for the price. Service was good and patio seating was fine. Overall, everything very overpriced for what you get. About $225 for 4 people at lunch. I recommend reducing price and/or increasing portions. Many other places with similar food and greater value.

Really seeing this restaurant turn a bad corner and after 10 years of frequenting this place. Ambiance has gone down. Prices have skyrocketed. Service level decreased. It used to feel a bit more upscale but now I feel I am dining at Olive Garden. I will no longer come back
No IPA. Hard to believe in 2025, there's only one IPA offered and it was out of order. Waiter didn't care.
The waiter was great however he was working the bar and patio tables - they seemed to be under staffed. I like this restaurant and good value for happy hour so hopefully they staff up soon.
We went early to avoid any evening crowds. The room was quiet for conversation. Our server was extremely attentive and answered all the questions. The menu was extensive and we found exactly what everyone wanted. It was prepared quickly and arrived hot. The flavors and proportions were perfect. The Bento Box meal was superior for the kids. The California rolls and 2 sides were plenty of food and delicious. Definitely a new favorite place.
