Starting off it was pretty good and pretty cool for my first experience going to a rotary or conveyor sushi and I would come here every so often because it's kinda expensive compared to all you can eat but the last couple times I've been here it's been a little lacking in quality in my recent visit the sushi was a little chilled and ice cold when I ate it along with my spicy mayo now it wasn't frozen or icey but it was the temperature of it coming out of the fridge which I wasn't really a fan of. The roll quality has also gotten a little worse because some of the rolls I got just fell apart especially the one hand roll I got. However I am not saying this is a bad place the fish is super fresh the staff is very kind and always there when you need them and the atmosphere is great for a family night out or for a cool dinner experience I will definitely be returning to Kura revolving sushi i definitely recommend it to every one it a great place.

Honestly this is a go to spot for visiting friends and family. The conveyor belt helps with wait times on the belt being replenished with items. They have collabs with animes and other popular TV or movie shows. Individual plates are about 2.75 -3.00 but definitely worth it .

Beautiful sushi. Love their spicy mayo, wish I could have it at home. They need to bottle that and sell it.

Kura is nicely priced and a great place for people new to Sushi to try new things. The low price and small plates make it easy to try a bunch of different varieties to see what you like and what you don’t. This was probably the place that got me into sushi.
The novelty of a revolving sushi bar is also pretty fun.
The desserts are also good (their egg tart is great).

The Salmon Nigiri we ordered for takeout was absolutely disgusting. Was so light pink it was almost white, and I've never had sushi-grade salmon that tasted so fishy. My family and I will never get sushi there again.

Went on October 1st and paid, then was told there was no transaction found and we had to pay AGAIN, and reassured the first transaction would not go through and if it did, we could call and be issued a refund "no problem". When both transactions DID go through, we tried calling the restaurant and they threw up their hands and told us to call our bank instead and refused to refund either transaction.
Be up front with your customers, especially regarding money and ESPECIALLY if you don't plan on helping them get their money back. Schaumburg location is much better. Will not be returning.
The staff working that night were very nice, and our experience otherwise was fine, but paying $120 for $50 of sushi is ridiculous.

It was a Friday night and it was moderately busy. The conveyor belt was 90% empty and slim pickings. It took awhile to get our drinks from the robot and my hand roll was not wrapped very well when it arrived and was falling apart. Other than that everything else was okay. The one in Naperville seems a little better.

I thought the place in oak Brook would be better. No. Sea urchin still have large chunk of ice on it. Also, my drink was never brought and I paid for it too. I spent almost $100 and no drinks was even brought to me.

It was my first time at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It's an interesting concept and I liked it but it can take awhile for items to restock and it's easy to overeat so count your plates. I liked several different things. The eel, fried rice bites, scallops, octopus where my favorites.

Service was 10 stars for me. Our server answered every dumb question we had and was super amazing kind. The little robot that brought our drinks was adorable. We tried all sorts of stuff. The most outstanding being the Taiyaki Ice Cream. Just stellar in everyway. The beef sushi was really good. The cucumber roll was excellent. Everything my partner tried she enjoyed. I can't wait to return and try out other dishes!!!
Parking: Got a spot right by the door.
