Visited MJ's Stake House and just learned that it is closing! The food was very very good! Had the bacon & garlic bread appetizer, salad, sliced prime NY strip with mushrooms and peanut butter pie. The feel of the restaurant was warm and inviting, I recommend visiting before they close!

SO SAD to see this iconic steakhouse leave our vibrant Oak Brook hood!!! Everything on this menu is diversely unique and delicious!!! Last night I enjoyed a Delmonico steak with French Onion Soup, and a mixed dessert of Peanut Butter Pie and Nutella Creme Brûlée with best butter cookies, ever!!! Love the product and the vibe!!! ;)))

Service was amazing! I believe Andres was our server? I forgot his name but he was excellent! Answered all of our questions and his recommendations were spot on. Steak was delicious as well as the garlic bread and Mac and cheese. It's a shame they will be closing soon. Come check it out while you have the chance.

Been here a couple of times and always a great experience.
I hate to see this location will be closing on 12/21/24.
I personally think if they were on the north side of 22nd with the other restaurants this location would be busy.

Good, good food. I enjoyed the crab cake a lot. The steak, 🍣 salmon, lobster 🦞, mushrooms 🍄 , asparagus was delicious 😋. Piña colada was good too. The staff were truly exceptional, I really liked them. The ambiance was great. I got complimentary cake too. Free parking spaces. We made reservations before going to avoid disappointment. I recommend!

The Friday surf and turf was good. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Only negative was our dishes stacked up and sat there for almost 30 minutes, waiter didn't come back until I waived him down. Unfortunately this location is closing 12/21/24. I would definitely consider the downtown Chicago location on michigan Ave. 4 stars 🌟

We came here on October 25 to the Oakbrook location to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This was our first time dining here. Cannot say enough great things about our server Daijah!! We told her this was our first time here. She took her time telling us about the menu, asked her for recommendations and she definitely did not disappoint. From appetizers to drinks to dessert, everything she recommended was great. Thank you Daijah for your great customer service!!

Out of this world garlic bread with blue cheese sauce!!! I do not like blue cheese but when it came to their sauce you do not even taste the blue cheese that is how good it is! I highly recommend ordering this you will not regret it!

This was my first time visiting, and it was an incredible experience! Our server, Daija, was absolutely amazing—quick, attentive, and so sweet. She went above and beyond, even surprising us with a delicious dessert to celebrate a birthday. The food was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place!

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs! Their warm welcome and attentive service set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Every team member was friendly, professional, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

The steak was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. You could tell it was of the highest quality. And let's not forget the drinks! They were top-tier, expertly crafted, and paired beautifully with our meal.

This restaurant has definitely earned a 5-star rating in my book. The combination of outstanding service, incredible food, and amazing drinks makes it a place I can't wait to return to. Highly recommended!

I was a little disappointed in the Ribeye. It wasn't as soft and tender as other Tomahawk steaks that I've had. Felt like maybe it was a lower choice of meat.

We came for our anniversary, and they made the event even better with all of the special touches. The steak platter and Jordan Martini were highlights, and the 23layer cake was the perfect ending. Thank you for all of the added touches.
