THE.BEST.CUPCAKES.EVER!! My cousin introduced me to Molly's cupcakes last year and I instantly fell in love but please don't tell my BFF who's also a baker that I cheated on her 🤫. I wish I could have sweets more often because I would be here every week. The texture is superb, they're not dry and not too moist, they're sheer perfection! I didn't leave the parking garage until I until I savored every last bite of the peach cobbler cupcake. I waited until I got home to enjoy the strawberry shortcake 😋🤭. I highly recommend! 10/10

I’m disappointed maybe it’s because I used the TOOGOODTOGO app to try them out for the first time. But the cupcakes I got were all moldy inside when I cut into them…I was disappointed to say the most. The customer service was amazing but I wanted to give a better review, unfortunately I won’t try their cupcakes ever again ….

I am a HUGE lover of Mollys cupcakes from the downtown Chicago locations. These cupcakes do not taste anything like the ones at those locations. Both dry and lacking flavor! Very disappointing!

One of the unique features of this cupcake shop is the raw filling in many of their cupcakes—usually cake batter or cookie dough—which adds a tasty twist to each bite! The flavors like Cake Batter, Peach Cobbler, and Cookie Monster are especially delicious. While the selection isn’t as extensive as some places, like Molly’s in Chicago, the shop is clean, and the staff is friendly. For the freshest cupcakes, I’d recommend stopping by earlier in the day.

I had the Iced birthday cake cupcakes with cake batter filling! Delicious! Whenever I visit Oakbrook Center, I always want to stop at Molly's for a cupcake. Thanks !

I got four cupcakes to try to see if I wanted to order a cake from here. The birthday cake cupcake’s filling tasted like raw batter. The cookie one had what tasted like raw cookie dough inside. The vanilla and strawberry were mediocre at best. I went in the afternoon and each cupcake seems like it’s was sitting there for a few days, dry cake and the frosting felt hard on top. For what they charge it’s so not worth the stop in.

Got one strawberry cupcake for $5 and it had no flavor, and the frosting wasn’t good. It tasted like a cupcake you’d get at jewel osco. Not worth the price or calories.

We went Wednesday night to the Oakbrook location. The tres leches cupcake was very dry. The turtle cheesecake was good. A different texture than regular cheesecake but still good. The customer service was blah. The employee seemed like she didn’t want to be there.

I was in town for a work trip and stayed nearby. I stopped by here twice. First time I got the turtle cheesecake. It was FABULOUS! So good I came back and got it again before I left. I used to own a Cooking Channel featured bakery so I know good sweets. This place rocks! Staff was incredibly polite both times. Appreciate the stellar customer service and fab sweets.

I've been to Molly's downtown and everything we tried was delicious so I expected the same experience when stopping here.
The young lady behind the counter seemed like we were keeping her from something even though we were the only people in the store.
The cupcakes were kinda dry and flavorless. We had the Blueberry cheesecake, Samoan, Red Velvet, and Lemon. Each one was more disappointing than the last. I would not recommend.

Was in the area for a work trip. Decided to bring my child a cupcake as a nice little surprise..Wasted money.For 5 dollars a cupcake, I felt they were small.. I thought "It's a cute little business that put a lot of thought into their design, the cake Has to be good!"Nope. All the effort went into design but not quality. The cake part of the cupcake tasted like egg. Very "cheap box mix" flavor.The consistency of the icing was great but the flavors were very muted.As for the filing? Very lacking in quality and amount. Bigger cupcakes would mean more filling.I've had better cupcakes at bake sales.

Can’t tell you about the cupcakes as we never had a chance to order. The sales girl working at the time of our visit (app 2 or 2:30pm April, 08th, 2024) was far too busy on a personal call to even acknowledge our presence in the store until we, after several minutes of staring and pointing at things in the display, walked out. She could not have cared less. Good luck, with employees like her, you are going to need it.

I've always been a fan of Molly's Clark Street location and had a stand out experience with Molly's OakBrook. I called to pre order some cupcakes and cookies for a birthday surprise and Sabrina and the team went over and above to make the birthday girl feel extra special and she loved the treats!
