Ozzie's Primo Subs | Best Subs Corned Beef, Cubano, Meatball, Pot Roast in Chicagoland

The food is fantastic, the portions are plentiful, and the prices are excellent. I try to stop in everytime I'm in the area.

The restaurant is in the basement of a building, but it is delicious and well worth the find. I had the reuben and I highly recommend. I met the owner and he was super friendly and made my lunch a great experience. Visit if you're nearby.

First time at Ozzie’s Primo Subs. My brother and I had the Italian cold cut. And the cheesesteak and Cubano. All really great! Topped it off with a really good chocolate chip cookie.

Ozzie was very friendly, and made us feel at home.

You can also play the Wii console inside as well!

Highly recommend to try out his subs!

I stopped in for a sandwich and cookie. Ozzie made my sandwich and it was delicious. He has a nice menu with various sandwiches to choose from. His chunky chocolate chip cookies are amazing.

What a gem! I'm so happy I found Ozzie's Subs! My 5-year-old and I had an appt in the corporate building (1000 Jorie Blvd) where Ozzie's is located (lower level). We typically get the Italian and the All American (ham and turkey) sub sandwich. Each sub had a generous portion of ingredients, and Ozzie's vinaigrette is AMAZING. (I ask for extra vinaigrette).
Highly recommend! So worth taking the walk into the building to get one of the best subs (at a fair price also). Honestly, I'm not sure what my daughter likes more - the subs or chatting with "Mr. Ozzie."

My boyfriend and I took a nice long walk on the nature trail starting from Graue Mill, 7 minutes away. It had the best reviews close-by and a sub sounded great after a walk. We were surprised it was located further down into the building and not a standalone spot, but no matter because good food is worth it. The definition of a hidden gem. We got the veggie primo sub with their herbed Mayo and mustard. The onion vinaigrette is really good and I love the wide and crisp pickles. Great quality for the price! The owner was really kind and friendly as well!

This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life! I would definitely recommend the pot roast panini with the peppers. Ozzie is the proprietor and he is so friendly and passionate about the sandwiches he serves. I can’t recommend enough! You will regret it if you don’t try his sandwiches !

Before heading to a wedding, we decided to get sandwiches. Used Google to find the nearest spot and with 5 star review Ozzie’s did not disappoint. I had the turkey sub (Ozzie’s way + giardiara) and devoured it. It was great to even meet Ozzie himself and take him up on his recommendations. He’s so sweet and kind with great customer service I’d agree with the 5 star review. We ended up going back the next day because we wanted more. Thanks Ozzie!

Fantastic food! The Cuban and the Italian sub were very good. Very fast too. Ozzie the owner was also very friendly.

Can be tricky to find, go down the stairs inside the building and you'll see it.
