Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk

Our server Cassie made everything special. We were very happy with everything that evening!

Angela B our server was nothing short of amazing! She was absolutely knowledgeable of the menu made great recommendations and provided exceptional customer service! Kudos to Piccolo Buco for the tasty food and decent sized portions. This was my first visit ever and looking forward to returning.

Went for a girlfriend‘s Christmas dinner with two people who have never been. The food was phenomenal, especially the Pappardelle and short rib dish. Wish there were more dessert options. A little slow and cleaning dishes off the table in between courses. But overall, a phenomenal meal and experience.

I'm a regular here. Absolutely love the chopped salad and gluten free pizza with truffle oil and mushrooms ( and I'm a huge meat eater lol ). It's my staple. The vibe is fun and casual. Service is always attentive

Klarissa our server was amazing and everyone was so nice. Food was good and the wine is always good.

The restaurant is not meant for a romantic get together. It is very loud. The food was fine, but the pizza crust was very burnt. The waiter told us he was sorry that we had dined at Coooershawk, because he “doesn't like Coopershawk”. Yet, he works at a Coopershawk restaurant. Very tacky. He never checked on us once our food arrived. And we sat quite awhile before we had to ask another server for to go boxes. I have been a Coopershawk wine club member for several years. I will continue with the club, but will not eat at Piccolo Buco again.

We were lucky to have Ryan as our server. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive to details, and genuinely kind. His service elevated our dining experience. Food is always good.

Piccolo Buco has great food and great service. I rate it a 10/10 we can't wait to go back.

Service was slow. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks in the beginning and server did not come over until I got up and asked the hostess who our server was

Really disappointing. Service was extremely slow. It took forever to get food, with no explanation from server. Entrees appeared and then our soups and salads came out 5 min later. Manager was apologetic, but offered little/no explanation as to what the problem was. Doubt we'll return.

Limited choices for vegetarian and gluten free. Gluten free pizza was almost half burnt. Service was really poor. For six people they provided settings for four. With every dish we have to ask for the Serving Spoons. I don't think I'll visit again or recommend anybody.

I still prefer Cooper's hawk, this is an Italian restaurant but cooper's hawk has bread that they bring you, piccolo does not, should be the other way around. I had the Cavatelli which were good but the cavatelli were swimming in the sauce. Plus my dish was Luke warm. Ambiance was nice, a little loud but ok. I purchased a bottle of wine and asked for the large decanter but they told me they don't do that, I was confused because I saw plenty of them on the table. I ordered fried calamari and they told me they ran out. Now our reservation was at 7 pm, how the heck you run out of calamari on a Saturday night at 7 pm? No bread, no decanter, no calamari. Never had any issues at Cooper's hawk.

There were 6 of us in our party. We had reserv but we had to wait 25 for our table to be ready. And it was 6:00pm on a Sat night so I accept that. Got seated, our server came and took our drink orders. We waited 30 min for our drinks; he said the bar was backed up. That was the 2nd negative of the night but we were having fun w our friends so we let it go. After our drinks arrived, we ordered in case the food was gonna take forever too. We ordered 2 apps, 2 pizzas, and a salad to start. All of that took awhile to arrive and he forgot one app. Fine, too late. Placed our entrees order. Ordered more drinks. Everything took a long time but we were forgiving bc we were w our friends. The food was delish, no notes about the food. The service was way off bc everything took forever. I would guess they were short staffed at the bar and the kitchen. The music was way too loud; it was hard to have a convo over the music. I would way, being short staffed at the bar is the biggest shortcoming. Other things can be forgiven but we need our drinks pronto. Great food, loved that!

We were seated a half hour after our reservation time. Server was not attentive but kind. The appetizer we came for was not available. We learned this well after placing our order for drinks and app. The second app order arrived before the original drink order. Food was decent, but not worth going back for. The biggest dissappointment was the atmosphere. Outr table was towards the front of the restaurant; crowded, drafty and akward. The music didn't match the venue, was crazy loud. It was Olive Garden feel, Oak Brook prices and club noise level.

Good place to be social and drink. Food options were limited. My group wasn't happy with not getting bread with meals. Overall it was a great atomsphere and a good time!
