The manager/owner is absolutely rude. Get a number that works for your business. Then actually answer the phone when it rings. I didn’t know where the place was and called the number provided on Google. When I got up there and spoke to the manager he said “if it didn’t work then it didn’t work” then dismissed me. I kept it polite even though he didn’t. Terrible customer service. I would never eat where I’m mistreated.

I went to Pie Five Pizza in the Oakbrook Illinois Center, and let me just say — it was one of the most disgusting food experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a pizza made with Alfredo sauce as the base, added my usual toppings, and chose a thin stuffed crust. Everything looked fine until I took my first bite.
Immediately, I was hit with a sour, spoiled, almost putrid taste that made me instantly gag. I honestly had to fight not to throw up right there. I tried to figure out what it was, tasting the toppings one by one, but the moment I hit that Alfredo sauce again — that same revolting, rotten taste came flooding back. It was unmistakable. The sauce was bad.
I took the pizza right back up to the counter and explained the situation. Instead of any concern or apology, I was basically told the only thing they could do was “make another pizza.” No one clearly said that the replacement would be charged again — which, honestly, was ridiculous given that the first one tasted spoiled.
To make matters worse, the manager looked visibly annoyed and acted as if I was inconveniencing him by bringing back a pizza that could have made someone sick. His attitude was cold, dismissive, and downright rude. While standing there, I couldn’t help but notice that their cold toppings were uncovered and sitting out — obviously room temperature.
At that point, it was crystal clear: this place does not take food safety or customer service seriously.
Moral of the story? If you enjoy the thought of a sour stomach or an early grave, then sure — eat here. Otherwise, save yourself the nightmare and stay far, far away from this location.

Me and my wife were visiting the Oakbrook Mall and decided to try Pie Five Pizza Co.
It’s similar to MOD PIZZA where they make your pizza from scratch and after that goes into their special ovens!
The customer service is very friendly and didn’t even charge for a last minute extra topping that we requested!
It’s located in the food court of Oakbrook mall so the ambiance is nothing too crazy - standard pizza shop look.
The pizza tasted very fresh and delicious- definitely recommend this spot for lunch/dinner.

Do NOT spend your money here! The guy that takes the pizza out of the oven and rings the customers with the black beard is a complete half wit with ZERO customer service experience. Disrespectful isn’t even the word, slammed the magic dust on the counter when I asked if I could have it on my pizza, asked for an ingredient and said it was the least of his concerns as to why they never have it, and didn’t provide his name or a corporate number when I asked. I frequent this food court everyday because of work, but I wouldn’t spend a penny here if I found it on the floor. Disgusting!
