Our first experience with the Colonial Room Drake holiday buffet, but it won't be our last. A wonderful meal with lots of variety and attentive staff.

We are definitely planning on going again next year. It was a wonderful experience and fresh and good food.

This was our third year enjoying Holiday Tea at the Drake. What a lovely experience! The service was top-notch and attentive; the tea selection was fabulous - so hard to choose just one. And the treats were all so delicious! We felt very spoiled! We'll definitely be back next year.

Definitely not worth the price, the tea was good, the food was bad, like all of it. We had to go eat after we spent $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids. If there is a way to sit and drink tea, do that, but the "experience" is not worth it.

The scones were very hard and didn't taste very good. The pastries were treats that are more appropriate for a children's Birthday party. The finger sandwiches were nothing special. This is the second time in 1 year I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of the food at the Drake Oak Brook.

I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon tea, it was simply perfect! The sandwiches and cakes were out of this world and I loved my birthday suprise that made me feel extra special. I would definitely recommend and I will be booking again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon xxx

I had fun with my cousins but it was completely overpriced. For three people it was over $300 (and we had no alcohol). It's in a room off the lobby (not private) so we were always watching people check in to the hotel or watching the football game in the bar across the hall. The sandwiches were dry and the cookies were stale. There was a pianist which was nice but because of the way the room was set up it was really loud (and we weren't even that close). I felt rushed through the experience because we had a later reservation and the staff clearly needed to turn the room quickly for another event. I could have easily done something similar in my own house for a fraction of the price

What a wonderful meal. Each item we ordered was delicious. The service was top notch. Ashton, David and Francisco made sure our experience was 5*. Would highly recommend!!

Gave off rich elitist vibes and staff was snobby. Not for me.

We felt ripped off. The cost ended up at approximately $90 per person & left hungry. I've been to High Tea at many noteworthy establishments around the country. The basic price + the auto-added 20% gratuity + the $10 “ Hotel Restaurant” fee that they snuck in at the end was unprecedented, in my experience. We like the chicken salad sandwiches best, but we were only given 1 tiny one of those. Other establishments offer to give you more of anything you'd like. Not here. Also, we were given only 9 teas to choose from. That is fewer than my previous experiences. The ambience was lively

The table setting was gorgeous. Very elegant. The service was ok. Somewhat slow. We waited more than 15 minutes for a mocktail The food was ok. The scones were the best part of the tea. And the tea itself was great. We did really appreciate the birthday plate for one of our party. The piano and saxophone music was lovely but the noise of the various conversations was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak and could barely hear the music. Overall we enjoyed the experience and we hope to return. It's fairly expensive. I think you could do a little better

Came here for a 4th of July celebration. The food was ok. Service was terrible. Fireworks were amazing!

A really fun filled and tasty buffet topped off with spectacular views of the fireworks from taste of Oakbrook and a drone sow to boot!

this special event for fireworks and buffet dinner was great -- food was very good- service and all the workers very accomodating ,, they did a great job -- plenty of grass area for kids to run around in --one never eats enough to justify the price of $80 plus 20% gratuity (plus cash bar ) at this but the value of the evening was worth it --- had a 5yr old , 3yr old and 1 yr old doing their first fireworks -they had the greatest time -- only thing i would suggest is raise the age limit to pay for a child to 7 or 8 years old -- a 4 or 5 year old for $ 30 is a bit much --- but the evening was great and the staff seemed to have all the kinks worked out ----
