It's been a while since we dined at Ruscello's We've had decent food here in the past and the convenience with Nordstrom shopping is ideal. Yesterday our experience was quite bad. I'm promising myself never to go there again. The menu is limited and I picked the salmon dish with saffron couscous risotto style. My husband ordered a safe pizza dish. When the food arrived I smelled a bad smell of the Parmesan on top of the food. As if it's expired cheese. The fish was dry overcooked and the couscous lumpy and unappetizing. Still I ate most of my food. I complained, and they offered to fix the fish. I was hungry and didn't want to wait. Not a good decision! I felt nauseated all the way home and my stomach was hurting. I never felt this bad from food before. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else

I love this place! Food is always tasty. Prices are reasonable. Drinks are strong. My favorite is the chicken noodle-tastes just like grandmas! Brussels sprouts a close 2nd. Nordstrom is my favorite store, love shopping and finishing up with a tasty meal. Service can be a bit slow.

It was weekday afternoon, not crowded at all, and service was extremely slow. After our order was taken, it took a while, and food came out lukewarm. We let the server know, he replaced the fries. I've never had that happen and was quite surprised at the service. Not sure what was going on.

I had a pleasant and delicious lunch here at Russello for the first time. The chicken noodle soup and the couscous salmon were very good and freshly cooked.
I’d suggest kitchen staff to wear net hats and beard covers to avoid hair in dishes as it should be in any commercial kitchen. This will help avoid negative experience and refunds.

Celebrated a birthday there. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. She was very sweet. It was my first time at Ruscello and I would go back again. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers for the table and their entrees.

Had a really nice luncheon took two girlfriends there my waitress though however I ordered a small salad and she brought me a large and charged me for a large I didn't say anything but it wasn't what I ordered
This is a hidden find at the Oakbrook mall. There are many healthy menu options, and the portion size of my salmon selection was generous. There are happy hour prices that entice you to have a cocktail or appetizer when you aren't thinking that way, and 1/2 price wine bottles on Wednesdays. We were treated to a friendly and attentive server. I had not been here for over a year, and my most recent visit was great again.

We dined here prior to shopping. We ordered the calamari, ravioli, and chicken parmesan. Both entrees were made fresh and came out hot. I highly recommend giving this place a try when you’re shopping at Oakbrook Center.
