We sat outside on the patio. We had a gorgeous view of the woods by the river, and the Old Graue Mill.
Vegetarian options: Didn't read the menu. We always have their delicious hamburgers! That day, we split the double hamburger, which was huge and fantastic!

Pizza acceptable, a bit dry, needed more sauce, cheese pale and not melted enough. Sausage and mushrooms very good. VERY loud, not conducive to comfortable conversation. States "quaint and cozy", it is neither. Just loud and over crowded.

Been going to this place for 30 years before it was remodeled it was a neat little Old tavern now it's a little polished up. A burgerr of beer and a 7-Up plus a $3 tip was 25 bucks a little steep for my liking still in a neat place right by the creek and you have the graue Mill there

Jana and Linda… absolutely outstanding. Very friendly and extremely professional. Simply the best, they are the reason I always return. Food and drinks are very good as well, but nothing compared to Linda and Jana.
I agree with the worst dining experience ever. Went a few times. Food was good but you will be ignored. Then we just ordered to go. That work out . Then we went in and it was a little busy and ordered pizza. They took forever and it was wrong. The waitress just insisted she put the oder in right and the kitchen messed it up. Ether way it's not what we ordered we said. She left and came back after several minutes and said they can make it again but it would be a while. So what do we want to do. I said I thought they were all ready remaking what we ordered when you left the last time. Then things really got bad. The remake was wrong too but because we ate a piece they said we had to pay. They made a big scene in front of everyone. A big scene. I can't believe people still go there. I know we won't.

So, I have frequented this place under the current owners for some time. Some of the food is good, some is not, all is subject to personal opinion. That being said, I usually sit at the bar and have a drink or two as part of my visit. Several years ago, Owner was charging $8.50 for a well drink when the going rate in the area (Fullers, LaGrange bars, etc.) was $6.00. That was 33% higher, which many of us thought was gouging. I, and many other patrons, stopped going there as a result. About a month ago, I had to meet someone there, and he had a well mixed drink that was $8.00, down from before, but still significantly above the going rate which had gone to $6.50. I had a good sandwich, so I stopped in today, about four weeks later.. Well drinks are now $10.00, an absurd amount, about 25% higher than just a month ago, and about 50% higher than the still-going rate of $6.50. So, if ya want a businessman who screws and gouges his customers, this is the place to go. As for myself, he lost my food and drink business, he lost my referral business, and he gained a lot of negative press. I hope the greed paid off jackass, just like it always does.
